Something similar just happened to us! Our dog was barking like crazy and we went outside to see what was wrong, and the car door and light were on in our friend's car. (He was sleeping over.) The cops came, and after they left, they heard a rustling in the woods. So they knew the kid was still hiding. So there were 4 huge strong guys (my 3 brothers and the friend) all sitting outside waiting to catch this thief. They eventually got tired and went inside, though.

Oh my gosh! I totally know what you mean about freaking out when you stand up to a burglar! Once time a burglar broke into my house when I was home alone and he hid in my house sooo I decided to go and find him instead of being a sitting duck and I almost shit myself I was so scared! hahah but I acted all tough walkin around with my kitchen knife :P

Ok Scott I have done the same thing! We use to live off the freeway near where the Tank got stuck (near Sharpes Hospital) I found a vietnamess gang banger breaking into the neighbors house and I ran after him leaving my 12 year old to call the police.My husband was out to sea!! You do and realized what the hell was I thinking!!!

That's too funny about the robber. Sometimes when I hear a strange noise, I'll shake my husband and say "honey, I hear something!" and he'll say, "oh, it's nothing." So what do I do? I get out of bed and go searching all over the house and outside--like an idiot! But for some reason I can't help myself, I have to go check it out. LOL It's always nothing and my husband is sound asleep!

Good job with the robber! I was up at 3:30am a few months back and heard someone try to open the back door! I was so scared, I ran and hid in the bathroom because I wasn't sure if the back door had been locked, if it wasn't then it meant they were inside! Thankfully it was locked, but if it wasn't I would've had to use my bathroom resources to ward them off. Mouthwash to the eyes, toilet brush handle to the groin perhaps? :P Sounds like a "Home Alone" type of assault ha!
