So,you say there was a GREAT FLOOD:)...that drown the trees, then mud, silt sand, minerals, gets into the water logged trees? But the wood itself turns into a mineral, right? Does Amber come from petrified wood?

You missed the famous teradactals pictures on the rocks. I guess it goes against ur historical view that native Americans could accurately drew pictures of dinosaurs they were to have never seen.
Considering how crude and abstract those images were, it'd be entirely possible for us to mistake them for other species. Seeing a bird and thinking it was a pterosaur, for instance. On the stone shown in this footage (f00tage?) I saw everything from a two-headed snake to a stick-figure elephant... doesn't mean the artist was trying to draw those, though.
I was there when I was in the states when I was 12/13(2002), we stole a few... ^^
still have one in my house, and I will keep it with me forever!

Mmm. Nothing like a bit of smooth jazz-house to fly along to. :)

TF, do you control the plane from your view of it on the ground only or do you also watch the video feed from the air in real time?

I wonder is the spiral represented the petrified wood.
lamnaa 3 years ago
There should be somebody else that comes along with another plane trying to shoot that one down.

How do they keep the petrifglyphs from being vandalized? There is alot of stupid people doing stupid things around.
CypherSystem 3 years ago
vandals are hopefully too lazy to hike to a place to fuck up...

You would think, but people never cease to surprise me. I mean look at the creationists and the lengths they go for bullshit.

It never ceases to amaze me that you can 'take off' the plane by chucking it

You're amazed easily.

That's sort of true. I think rain is amazing. If I didn't see it for myself there is no way I'd believe it.

And you are a bit dead inside.

why is the wood cut? did they cut the rock, or is that wood only a few thousand years old?
migkillertwo 3 years ago
He explained that in the last vid :P.
Probably has something to do with the crystallization process.
Twobitz1 3 years ago

migkillertwo 3 years ago
He has a much better explanation that makes far more sense.
