  • WAIT- THAT'S OVER 9000!

  • Over 9000!

  • Well that wasnt a drill that was an impact driver, there is a distinct and marked difference.

  • Right on! You have some good ideas.

  • ITS OVER 4000!

  • make wooden block car and make your engine work inside it

  • will you sell it?

  • my vacuum engine spools to 15,000 and my vacuum is terrible

  • so now build a turbine engine =P

  • I went down to a workshop and tested my turbine lego machine. I have no idea how powerfull the compressor is but it went up to 21,000. After like 10 sec the hole lego turbine was warm as hell. I will put up a video on it soon!

  • hahahahahaha there might be a hell of a lot of rpms but theres enough torque to maybe turn a small handheld fan

  • sound like a dentist drill.. lol

  • how do you stop the air flow from the coneter for the air tube? thoses 2 parts has 2 holes in each of them

  • That's not an engine it's just a spinning gear

  • NICE keep ot up kid.

  • All engins have a over all rating which is speed and torque combined a pneumatic engin with a cylinder has torque not speed and this turbine driven engin has much speed but little torque if you ran this through a converter ( if a small gear drives a big wheel you get strenght, and vice versa for speed , if a big wheel drives a little gear you get speed) and converted it into torque it would be a little more usable

  • @islandfireballkill well said, But i think it doesnt even have enough torque to run a converter! haha

  • ITS OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whats spinning it?

  • @CrazyMan15218

    Air is powering it...

  • @FutebolFanatico001 Come back and speak with me when you're Einstein.

  • @FutebolFanatico001 Centripetal force is the cause, centrifugal force is the effect.

  • 1:14 theres sort of a laser sound :)

  • well, centrifugal force is really a fictitious force. the actual physical force is called CENTRIPETAL FORCE. take physics :)

  • @FutebolFanatico001 Centrifugal force isn't fictitious, Newton's 3rd Law.

  • why would you have an air powered rill in your room?

  • The term RPM is an abbreviation of revolutions per minute. Saying RPMs is equivalent to saying revolutions per minutes. Which makes no sense. Please use the correct terminology next time.

  • olle pero como lo as echo

  • your engin brokes thats because is not made correctly

and a piston engine is more atractive than a turvine

  • That's not an engine it's just air blowing on a gear

  • put on a proppeler

  • Put a 1:2 gear for your tach to read beyond 16k rpm lol

  • hi, where did you get your rpm meater

  • First of all that air tool you showed was not an air drill, it's an air impact wrench.

Second of all thats not a real Lego engine, I've seen Lego engines with cam shafts, pistons, timing chains etc. now those are real engines.

  • too basic. its maybe a rpm, but there's not enought horsepower for a lego car. look for lpepower or nicjasno.

    its the real thing.

  • woah! add a spring to a nother and attatch it max speed could reach 32,000+!

add a wheel to it and 10000 rpm shoul come...weight 8000...+spring 16,000...3 spring32,000 again... u could blow it up

  • how do you get that subscribe button?

  • i seen video with 40,000 rmps

  • How much bar/psi does the compressed air has that you used?

  • you should attach a c02 12 gram cylinder to it so you could put it on a lego car and it would go like 30mph itd be awesome

  • its a 24 tooth gear?

  • put that i a plane with an actual airfoil because you only need 5,000 rpm to make a plane take off

  • nice

  • could you please make instructions

  • i built a lego turbine a while back, great for drag racers as lots of power not much weight, but you get the problem of melting shafts and of how to get the air to the car whilst its moveing. you should really look into lego vaccuum engines and pnematic engines, if you havent already. There are vids of both on my page, but there are much better ones out there on youtube...

  • /watch?v=fQxYFKa95L8&feature=related

    this is the fastest 19.000+rpm

    NOOOOOB

  • @Spezialedbiker wtf dude?!? you cant even make one so shut up!?!

  • @xplymouth2

i can but i dont make

  • boring -.- .......

  • I think if you use a bigger gear in the turbine itself it would go faster.

  • Tbh , it's crap! As If you got 16000 rpm, try to get a Lego technic xl motor to 12000+ rpm!

  • thats an impactor not a drill

  • insane!!!!!!! put the wheel on

  • The major problem with this design is that it is high speed, but extremely low torque. Try building a pneumatic piston driven motor, they are way cooler, stronger, and much more of a challenge.

  • i made a faster one than this and melted the shaft, you didnt set a record

  • @hondaguy959 If you didn't bother making a record, yours doesn't count. Go back to ricing around town, fag.

  • @hondaguy959

Didn't you use light synthetic hobby oil?

LPE always use oil on their Lego creations.

    Lego Pneumatic Engine*

  • hahahahah lol but good 5 stars

  • Instead of the wheel you should of put another gear underneath the blue tube.

  • Comment removed

  • Ive seen 20,000rpm turbine made out of lego except in the video it started to cut the shaft.

  • yes mine does that thats actually why it stopped running, the shaft was worn out and also i say 16,000+ because the tach can only read so high

  • @pbr51 just gear it down more times, by another 4:1 mabe

  • amazing

  • make a car

    out of it

  • just type lego turbine on google

  • all that comes up is the windmil turbine

  • i found an actual lego turbine web site on google

  • what is the website called?

  • well it needs lube and its not the fastest and check around and if i were u i would get rid of that exhaust pipe thing u want the best exhaust flow possible

  • yay!!! the video is UP!

I was the first to see it! (behind the scenes!)

  • coooooooooooool

  • hmmm i bet i can challenge to 20,000 rpm >: )

  • i have built one thats getting up to about 26000 rpm

  • put a video of it up plz! i wanna see it.

  • dude i play legos all the time n dat is probably the coolest thing i have seen!!!

  • that is awesome
