HI, I have a Samsung Galaxy S. ATT, and My screen had cracked, theres only sound that comes from it and I NEED to acces very important Files, (PIcs, Vids, Etc) and wondering on how to fix the screen or access the memory?
I've broken my glass screen on my galaxy s I9000, however, the phone lcd is still working so i want to replace my glass only. I have been told however, that with this phone the glass and the lcd come as one piece and changing the glass means changing the lcd, meaning this this quite costly. From you video this doesn't seem to be the case though. Is this just the parts that samsung sell or can i just purchase a glass screen off ebay and change it the way you did?
I was wondering if the showcase(us cellular version of galaxy s) uses the same digitizer and lcd as the fascinate? I have found that they are almost if not identical in hardware. If not do you sell the showcase lcd/digitizer combo?
best video..... question for you PDAPARTS, i dropped my Galaxy S by accident into water few days ago........... i removed the battery and the back cover immediately and and tried the "rice technique" after about 8hrs i couples the phone together but the screen now come -up with small dots (really tiny) is there anything else i can do please?
@cquaresma67 Many times when a phone is water damaged the water ends up blowing out or shorting out multiple parts or multiple items in the phone. This is not 100% the case everything but in many cases it is. So by the time you replace the several parts that are damaged you end up spending more than getting a new phone.
Best video of the dis-assembly of this phone to date.
It should be common sense, but never attempt to remove a screen/digitizer without loosening the adhesive first. You're only asking for trouble if you do otherwise.
Hello PDAPARTS, question for you, I've broken the screen on my vibrant t959 and it looks identical to this phone, but i tried looking for a digitizer screen for that phone but nothing comes up. I only see the screen with the lcd assembly. can i purchase this phones digitizer and will it work on the samsung vibrant t959. How come there is not a screen digitizer sold seperately for this phone? everywhere i look its with the lcd assembly for $97 or more? thank you!
@blacksnow90 Just sent you a direct message with some info for parts on that phone. Hope it helps but we have never dealt with that company. Good Luck.
hello, cool video thanks. My home button key appears to be getting stuck, my plan was to take the front off to make sure it is clean underneath but I don't know if it is safe. If I took the front off up to 1:45 in the video and have a quick clean will it be a simple click it back on and screw back together? Please advise :)
hey guys, my galaxy wont work, the light turns on when it charges the screen isnt cracked but it still wont show anything so do i just need a new touch panel or is it completely effedd. help me ):

My power button stopped working on my Galaxy S. Is that a hard fix or do you think I should go some where to have it fixed?

ViventLeMoment 1 month ago
@ViventLeMoment As long as it takes to loosen it. Heat for a little then check and if not repeat.
