@sygo7g Well said! Hardware Wars was and continues to be a defining parody film. Come to think of it - though I might be over-reaching here - the parody film hadn't really become a staple of cinema until after Hardware Wars. It must be one of the first parodies to take an intellectual property and turn it on its head like that. Other comedies like Young Frankenstein and Airplane! were more of a spoof of a genre than a specific movie. But I could be wrong :)

What a well done film. As a bonus it features the voice of the Late Great Paul Frees. Paul must have had a slow week. Paul did hundreds of various cartoon voices over the years. Ernie, Great job. This brings back a lot of memories fro the early days of Home Box Office. Does anybody have a copy of "The Stop Over" that film played the same time as this one did.
