  • I hate how my natural nails feel when i take the acrylics off ...

  • Man I should of seen this video when I tried to take mine off. It was at school and in doing so I ripped off part of one of my nails. It was like nail-no nail-nail. It left only a dent when the top nail fell off and the rest grew back. Good I suppose.

  • i used to bite off my acrylics because they were so impossible to take off.. and your nails looked like they wanted to commit suicide from under the fake nails when you scraped off the excess acrylic.

  • Thanks, Ever since I saw this I have been using this process.

  • dang the acrylic comes of fast

  • Ok good. im glad these are the steps. this is what i usually do to remove my press-ons. im thinking about getting acrylics and im glad it's not to much work to remove them and that i don't have to get them taken off by a professional. thanks!!

  • were did u get that drill set i need 1 and how muck is it

  • this technique hurts your natural nails SO BAD. the first time you wont notice it, but when you remove your nails often like this, oh it's so terrible wrong!! just file every piece of acryl off..

  • @Wanneeh The way you say she should do it might lead on that she might file her nail as well leading to make it too thin. Which is bad as well.

  • Thank you! I've never hand tips, but I got them done and I was despretly trying to find a simple and painless way of removing them thank you, ill deffinatly use this method. :)

  • great tip

  • wow! that is soooo much easier!

  • i remember i got acrylic and my friends mom did this too (:

  • This may seem weird but I think it looks cool when you scrape the acrylic nail off. Anyone else think this or just me? :p

  • @meghandancer94 I TAUGHT SO TOO LOL.

  • ewww it looks like a bit of your nail is coming off!!

  • Wow...thank you for the amazing tip

  • Nailpolish works too but it will take longer to soak off

  • Omg love that I never soak them off I always rip them off thanks for the good Idea

  • what a waste of foil

  • ummmm......Acetone causes liver faliure..:/

  • Where did you get your machine?

  • Comment removed

  • Please soak your nails like this or something and don't bite and rip the acrylic nails because you can damage or rip off your actual nail as well. which is highly painful and damaging to the nail bed setting you up for problems later.

  • hey .... habe ma ne frage .... geht das auch bei gelnägeln ?????

  • @supernailstoday nein, das geht nicht fur gelnageln

  • can you use acetone based nail polish remover or will it not work the same because if not then i need 2 know where i can get the acetone

  • @makeupmainia101 yes acetone nail polish remover works as well, because it has acetone in it. :)

  • @makeupmainia101 any sally beauty store will have it

  • All you have to do is get a credit card (or similar things) and push it under an opening of the acrylic nail. It might hurt a little but it works fast.

  • Respond to this video... Doing that can take layers of your real nail and potentially damage your real nails

  • Looks like you were taking off your acual nail

  • DID your nails feel weak? Or sore ?

  • what if i take off my arcylic nail but i dont have the things to take them off where do u recamend to get it

    thumbs up if u agree

  • what if i take off my arcylic nail but i dont have the things to take them off where do u recamend to get it

  • Is it ok to let the acrylic nails grow out instead of drilling/ filing them off? Because I've done the "short & soak" technique, but it never worked so i would always have to slice under my nails leaving me with the worst pain!

  • do you have to file the acrylic of first? or can you just only use the acetone? (sorry for my bad english)

  • Wow thank You so much last time i took mine off it hurt but when i did it this way it worked :D thankyou

  • I do this on my clients all the time. Its not painful lol

  • Love this

  • So far this is the best video on how to properly remove acrylic nails. The only thing i would change is applying the acetone. I would warm it up and just dip my nails for 5 minutes rather than 45 min. lol. Great video., and you actually showed how to "take the acrylic" off the nails.

  • wow, all that time just to take off some atifical nails? why not just paint on your natural nails?

  • looks so painfull when you peel off the acrilic. Looks like you peel off the nail to.It's painfull?I was thinking to get acrilic nails but now I think that I'm going to grow my natural nails

  • @21cosminutza nah its not painful u just have too make sure that u dont ttake the acetone off too early cause then it will hurt trying too get it off..xD but this is virtually painless lolz much better then just riping it off xD

  • Just call me tin woman

  • hi...do you find that drill good...would like to buy now..am abeginner so i dont want to spend lots of money..just want it to do theright job..thanks

  • can u write the things u need oh and luv it

  • THESE NAILS R TIME + MONEY CONSUMING

  • How do you change the sanding cylinders on the drill? I can't get mine off!

  • Now I'm gonna do that thanks to show how you do this....

  • what is arycil

  • where can you buy one of these nail drills, that is a good brand and works amazing?

  • you do great nails iv seen most of your videos already are you gonna upload more ?

  • Thank you so much for your video! I got powder nails a week ago and while I have loved them because they look great I've just found that they're really a hassle. (I type slower, fumble with the things I'm holding and can't scratch my arm because they're so smooth! Haha). I want them off but didn't want them to look terrible and your video told me just what I can't find anywhere else-that a skilled person can get them to look good right after they come off! Thank you so much and great job!

  • I dont understand u say that u r not a pro but then u go ahead and use a really good electric sander... Can u buy these things ??? By the way u r very good at acrylic nails !! I do my own but they dont look like this :(

  • @bechazrmad LoL I'm not a pro either but I cant live without my electric nail drill..Just bought the exact one she's using new off of ebay..I think I paid 14 for it..Must have for anyone attempting acrylic at home..You def need to look into it..Its called a pen shaped electric nail drill..

  • GREAT VIDEO GREAT TIP

  • Great idea :) Thanks for sharing

  • does anyone know what type of drummel she is using? ive been looking online for it, but i dont remeber the name..

  • Uh ow?

  • ROBO FINGERS

  • uh... does that hurt your real nails???????

  • i just bite mine off lol or let them fall off

  • does it hurt

  • definantley! i am 12 and i was scared when i got my 1st acrylic nais, so worried that i removed them using this method.......its the BEST WAY

  • thanks, i just had my nails done for the first time ever and i hate them they are ugly. but the lady said i have really thin nails so it was best for me to leave them until they fall off on their own. or else i will prob take off my real nails ass well as the acrylic, is that possible?

  • @lovecv9 lol

  • @TahtahCutie52 i used cotton balls, and it worked perfect, so yes (:

  • Instead of the flat cotton thing, can I use cotton ballls?

  • YOU ARE REALLY TEARING UP YOUR OWN NAILS!

  • Thank you so much for the video! I did not want to pay the nail salon $15 to soak my nails off and basically, hurt me when they try pull them off because the process is talking too long for them!

    Thank you so much!

  • Thank you so much for the video! I did not want to pay the nail salon $15 to soak my nails off and basically, hurt me when they try pull them off because the process is talking too long for them!

    Thank you so much!

  • Awesome girl

  • Didn't work for me. :( but there's a chick copying every video and method you use, btw. Pretty sure it's not you cuz her fingers are rly fat, lol but thought I'd let you know.

Her username is "cuteglitternails" love yr vids btw.

  • will this work if i don't have a buffer???

  • Great video. Yea I just removed my acrylics. They were nice to have but I am glad I did. I am going to give my nails time to grow and polish them often :). I don't plan on acrylics again because they are sort of a hassle. They only partially damaged my real nails but you always have to worry about lifting and bacteria. I find it more fun and relaxing to just give myself a weekly manicure and enjoy my natural nails (: Sorry for such a long comment. This was just my opinion on acrylics! :)

  • Wow you are awesome....get tip I never seen it done that way, it sure beats soaking your nails in a bowl of acetone...yucky. But I love your way Im try that. Thanks

  • @myglitternails what if i dont have a buffer

  • Could you not buff away 70% of the acrylic nail at the beginning and it will still work? (I don't have a buffer)

  • Good morning!

That this liquid and pure acetone, or petroleum jelly??

I am Brazilian I am the translator ... Kisses

  • Perfeito adorei!!!

  • OMG!! I have to say at takeing your nails off...you are the pro! i wouldve never thought of thth!

  • wow....thanks for this vid..the best so far..and less damaging..i will be doing this from now on

  • wow this is great.

  • oooo wowww Perfect!!!!!!!

  • You're amazing!!

  • Thank you for this because i was trying to bite them like i did every other time but this is better.

  • I just got my nails done today and I hate the way they look. Can I remove these acrylic nails the same day or next day?? or would that be too painful? =\ please help asap!!! :(

  • Whtu Does Thaa Oil Do?????????????/

  • filing the acrylic from the nails , it hurts like h.... . ive tryed , and its painfull .

  • wow this was very helpful thank you and i will subscribe to your channel can you subscribe t mine? thank you!

  • this video is amazing! thank you hun! i tried it out..and i must say this way beats biting them off or breaking them! :) thank you

  • Wow, the before and after says it all ... that is a technique that works. I am going to try it, however I don't have a drill to file off some of the acrylic first. I will try to file it off by hand a bit, then do your technique. It was just amazing how all of the acrylic scraped right off with the metal cuticule pusher. Great video :)

  • wow im impressed of your creativity. I'm a nail tech myself and u can never stop learning. Thanks for sharing.=) I've got some new ideas now;-)

  • I have a question...do you nails feel thin after removal with out the nail hardener? And do you ever worry about the acetone, thats a dangerous chemical. I am just wondering, I've only gotten acrylics once before but can't remember. Thanks! (=

  • Comment removed

  • @imatrini4life : Ofcourse, you nails become a bit thinner when you remove it. A tip I do for my customer is that never remove it 100%. 5-10% percents of acrylics will be left then i use a special polish to make nails stronger and healthier. You can wait in 2 or 3 week until your nails get thicker.

  • How do you keep your cuticle so nice? My cuticle and around my nail is so dry and i do paint my nails every week. Do you know a solution?

  • :O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • does it hurt?(sister)

where did u buy the oil?

  • does it hurt?(sister)

  • @ridhwan96 you already said that

  • hey te las quitas bien facil yo pongo acetona en un plato hondo y meto las manos pero ps desperdicio mucha acetona me encantan tus videos.................

  • do you find that your nails are weak after you tske off your acrylics?

  • lol, must get awquard after doing the first hand XD

  • what if you dont have that machine.

  • Do you do the same think if you just have acrylic on your own nails but not the cut off part

  • i want to think that when youre shoving off the acrylic, it is acrylic instead of your natural nail. i mean, it is, but my eyes lie to me.

  • i need to stop pulling my nails off when one falles off.....

  • this whole idea of acrylic looks vry gr8 but it ruins our nails soo badly i mean, i'v never done it but i cn c hw bad this is for our nails.. i bet ur nail feels like paper after u'v taken it off..?

  • what does the foil do to the acrylic?

  • @KCKRVS The foil is just to hold the cotton pad in place for an extended amount of time.

  • @KCKRVS the foil just keeps the acetone pad thingy in place so the acrylic and soak up the acetone

  • What is cutical oil for?

  • It looks like you are taring your nails apart looks nasty.

  • That's how I remove mine too!!

  • Does the buffer hurt if you accidently touch yourr skin with it?

  • @Kileyxoxo It will hurt becuse it is made out of metal and if it touches your cutical, it will kind of destroy them.

  • where did you get you're buffer?

  • Wow that's great thanks girl!

  • When you start to peel the nails off, does it hurt??

  • @PINKessentials143 no it doesnt hurt at all

  • this is exactly the right way we remove fake nails or permanent manicure. thats the way my teacher taught me. great job girl!

  • Awesome vid, thanks for sharing!!! :)

  • omg...thanks so much for this technique...i am headed out to purchase the items now!!!

  • i am a pro nail tech and this is how we are taught in college to remove nails only thing i do diff is put alittle vaseline round the cuticles and sidwalls to stop skin drying out...awesome job babe

  • does ur nail drill ever heat up on ur nail when ur taking off 70%?

  • @MsJade96 yes it does. i purchased this same drill from her website n it does heat up and burns extremely bad

  • does that tool hurt when you use it cuz i see steam coming of it

  • @zogasha it's not steam, it's powder cause she's polishing the acrylic off

  • @bloospider Thanks

  • @zogasha its not steam. its just the acylic coming off

  • i was just wondering how do you get rid of those annoying white lines in your nails, like you dont have them from what i can see, but i get them all the time.

  • thanks for posting this video, ima subsribe this gives me a fair idea now.. i cant wait to try it when i take mines off hehe thanks :)

  • You have like really pretty hands, =) I love your videos!

  • Thank you very much for this tutorial. Your steps are so easy to follow and I can't wait to give it a try.

  • can you use nail polish remover with acetone in it ?

  • do you wear a mask so you dont choke on all of that acrylic dust flying off everywhere? lol

  • Can you buy pure acetone at any drugstore?

  • @asianxparadise i get mine from walmart

  • @asianxparadise i live in the unitedstates and i know at CVS they sell "100% acetone" in a professional bottle. its about 12$ i think. hope this helped

  • Comment removed

  • @missetenquen just go to sallys and apply for their membership card $5...n just purchase theire acetoner for about $2.., :) n yu can use the card for a whole year and to renew it cost $5..

  • @asianxparadise you can get it at riteaid or any hardware store, look in the paint thinner sections. It's cheaper at the hardwarde store, I think and it's a larger container.

  • where did you the electric nail filer?

  • what other way can u remove ur acrylic nails if u dont have a drill??

  • @joceyLOL what i do is i take a strong nail file and just file all over my nail. it mite take some time but it works. hope this helped :)

  • @florettesbesttwirler thanks so much!!

    it helped alot ;)

  • do i have to use file to remove my 70 percent of my acrylic nails? or i can go on with the foil and pure acetone?

  • i don't have pure acetone, only nail polish remover. does that work as well?

  • @sophiaarawrr No nail polish remover will not melt the acrylic, you need pure accetone.
