How did I miss this in January? Crazy! And it was at the beginning of 2010 that I was promising to upload my own '50 books in a year' and didn't. Woops. :S
It'll be interesting to see how your 50 books reading goes this year now that you're in NZ. I wonder if you'll end up making one of these videos too. :)
I just went out and bought a few books, among them were Going Bovine and Never Let Me Go. Going Bovine I knew I'd heard from you, and for the longest I was wondering where I'd heard Never Let Me Go from - I was sure I'd heard it somewhere - sure enough, here it is. You sure can drive some people crazy, Jessie :p
I like your taste in books, you should try "Rebecca" by Daphne Du Maurier and "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. Two of my favorites I don't think I've heard you mention. I'm going to try "A Great and Terrible Beauty" from your list last year, and "A reliable wife" sounds interesting(I looked up a lot of your list).
I'm so glad that you posted again this year! Amazingly, I've only read one book off your entire list-"The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. However, I have a lot of them on my wish list. Slowly, but surely I'll get to all of them!
@JessiEvaS I'm glad you really enjoyed them! Did you know that the Mortal Instrument series is getting 3 more novels to it? City of Fallen Angels is coming out in April! AND Clockwork Prince (the sequel to Clockwork Angel) is coming out in September!!
I just have to say that I think your videos are great! I've been maxing my book list! I'm so thrilled you've read Hunger Games and Mortal Instruments (and other amazing books, of course)!
@rsMagicalMuffin Thank you so much! I have to say, my love for the Mortal Instruments is bordering on unhealthy. I'm constantly checking Cassie Clare's twitter with bated breath in hopes of some hints about the next book.
hi! I really hope you post another year in books for 2011. as an avid reader, they are always a video highlight for me ;)

What did you think of the Mortal Instrument series and the Hunger Games series?
stevedacool 1 year ago
@stevedacool I love them! I was trying not to re-read too many books in 2010, but I had to make an exception for two of my favourite series.
