@Zane1105rsvids That doesn't make sense... why would you be able to play the game but not run steam? I don't know the answer to your question, but steam may be required to receive game updates and play. I know the game uses steam friends to find multiplayer matches with others, but I don't know if it's required to connect to a server.
What did you record this with? Im interested in making videos of some of my steam games but i've had some problems trying to find something that records these games. I know that you can record demos but these demos can not be used in many programs made for editing :/
@Feboxreborn The recording program is FRAPS. There is a free and paid version. The free version restricts recording length and imposes a watermark, though with a little dedication this shouldn't be a real problem. You can upgrade to the unrestricted pro version if it works for you (test it first, framerate will be CPU bottlenecked). I cut this together from clips, scaled and compressed it with RAD Video Tools (Bink and Smacker) converter and the XviD codec from CCCP (both free).
@TheSenel17 yeah, if you read the description you'll see I was aware of this problem and fixed it for subsequent videos. This one the music volume was down to 5% and FX was down to 15%, so it was already turned way down, but I further cut FX to about 7-8% in later videos.
