I think Robert Hoffman called Adam and told him he should send in an audition tape for Step up 2 the streets.

and i heard that in one of those interview at the premiere that Adam said Robert called him about auditioning for Step Up 2.

I heard Mr. Hoffman had mentioned that he was in the movie to Adam and Adam said he wanted to try out, so then Robert said to send him an audition video. :)
