I Fuckin LOVE this movie, i dont care what anyone thinks lol, it was a decent movie when i saw it back in 89, and the Nintendo stuff was amazing to me. I still have the "Pocket Power" mini Nintendo power magazine they gave you at the movie theater when you saw it back then. Anytime i do a long NES play session i always play this movie in the background!
I love the Rain Man reference. It really is a kids version of that film in many ways. A cheesy but great film(especially for people who grew up with the NES, myself included).
Though it was a really cheesy movie, that's what makes it great. Not the greatest movie ever but is the "Greatest Cult Movie Ever". Not the best movie ever but it's entertaining which modern movies don't have enough.
I remember taking my kid brother to see this one. I had high expectations for this movie and then it was disappointing. The only good part of it was that they showed everyone how to warp with the flute!
HAHAHAHA, the Rain Man and Wizard were virtually the same xD!!! dude, thank you guys for posting this, as I still clearly remember watching the commercial for the movie (yes, and I was desperate to get my hands on SM3). Man, will the old days ever arrive back :(!!!

The coolest part of this movie for me was the "Send me an angel" roadtrip scene. Especially that spider car!

while the movie felt like one big Nintendo ad, i always loved it. oh for the record, its ninja GUY-DEN, not GAY-DEN. awesome review though.

I liked the Wonder Years. Around the time when it aired on Nick at Night, this movie use to air sometimes on Nickelodeon.

Did came off pretty much the junior version of Rain Man in that sense.
