Usually, this ball would have found it's way into Gilly's gloves perhaps a foot outside off. He left the ball because there is no point throwing your bat at such a ball and risking an edge or skied shot. Even if he had left his back leg in place, he would have been a candidate for LBW. And if he'd played a shot, I dear say the result would have been less than convincing.

Check Shane's success against us Indians. He was a net spinner infront of us, he used to get spine shiver whenever he bowls his leg spinners against us Indians. Please learn to appreciate talent of others...Any batsman in the world has limited options available in front of that ball. Most probably you end up in LBW victim in front of that and it is true that batsman misjudged that ball completly.
I never saw Harbhajan or Kumble got a wicket like this, I will be happy to see that if you have any clips

IMO it is more like failure of batsman than bowling. Nothing against Warn and his talent this is amzing to get that much turn in any wicket but if you expect a medium pace delivary from a spinner and put ur leg on the line of the ball ater pitching thats your failure.
If he get an LBW thats acceptable clean bowled thats something different

Jeez your tough on Strauss. Generally, a ball will not spin in excess of 1 metre after pitching. I reckon this one does. Usually, this ball would have found it's way into Gilly's gloves perhaps a foot outside off. He left the ball because there is no point throwing your bat at such a ball and risking an edge or skied shot. Even if he had left his back leg in place, he would have been a candidate for LBW. And if he'd played a shot, I dear say the result would have been less than convincing.
