The comparison between the two is certainly interesting. In my opinion, Asashoryu is so aggressive and direct. I feel that Hakuho is equally energetic, but the way he handles his opponents is much more subtle and almost gentle; he shows greater restraint and control. It's nice to see two yokozuna with different styles and strengths.

Maybe if we're lucky...we'll get to see two matches between the two of them for this current basho.

Fantastic footage! TYVM for putting this together. The opportunity to compare fighters was wonderful. Although Hakuho is my favorite, this shows a VERY STRONG Asashoryu getting a well deserved win. Hakuho will be back!
