@DETROIT2MILWAUKEE - I think kevin nash had the better powerbomb..Simply because Kevin Nash uses gravity when he did his..Sid uses leverage,,in some cases Sid's powerbombs were simular to Kevin Nash..Don't believe me then check out Holloween Havoc Kevin Nash vs Scott Hall
Nash does have a great powerbomb but Sids powerbombs just seemed like they had a lot of force behind them due to power he possessed. What separated Sid from the other big men was how muscular defined he was. While Nash had bulk, the Undertaker was agile for a big man-Sid was a power muscle man basically a forerunner of the Goldberg type as others have said.
Sid just looked legitimately like he could dominate in the ring even by appearance alone.
@A0n79fRtW like I previously stated nash uses gravity and sid uses leverage thats the difference between the two ..Its looks very powerful because of the height
So you are telling me that Benoit was stronger than Sid? Awesome may have been the most agile big man ever but when it comes to the intensity and power and devastation of the powerbomb no one compares Vader or Sid.
Benoit was ten times the technical wrestler Sid was. However, Sid did not have to win matches based off of technical wrestling but rather his sheer size, power and domination. Having watched wrestling since about 1980 I can say without doubt that wrestling is great because of the different varieties of wrestlers whether technical or power or high flying or brawling types. Sid had one thing that Benoit did not have which is most important -charisma and crowd pops.
@MrFuckyourselfanddie but you need to see that when he goes to do the "flying big boot" he broke his leg because it was to much weight in only one foot, his leg brokes because he did this a lot of times, WCW, WWF and WCW again.
Wrestling although staged is meant to portray at least a semblance of reality and believability. Sid Viscious is not going to go into a wrestling match and have a 5 star technical match like Flair/Steamboat in 1989. Sid is a power and brawler type wrestler and does not need to use drop kicks and armbars to win a match. Sid had the most important thing any wrestler could ever have and that was great crowd reaction which in the end is all that matters to promoters.
Great vid .Sid vicious(or Psycho as he was known) scared the bejesus out of me as a young lad. Powerbomb on bigelow was crazy. Had the charisma and psychology that wrestlers struggle to get
There's been a lot of big men... Nash... Kane... Undertaker... big show... etc. But to me none were intense like this dude. Not only was he tall but he was buff. And could move like a smaller wrestler. Think he paved the way for wrestlers like Goldberg.
Sid best's matches were with HBK,Bret Hart & Benoit. The MSG crowd was cheering the hell out of Sid when he beat HBK for the WWF/E Title & yes he did the chokeslam better than anybody
I remember back in the day, Sid's feud with Hogan. He was saying that he was going to end Hogan's career. That his match with Sid was going to be his last. I was one scared little kid. I really thought he could destroy Hogan.
Taker's chockeslams have always been pathetic. He uses two hands and he rarely and barely gets the person one foot off the floor then gently lets go of them. Sid uses one hand and lifts 250 pounders high up in the air and smashes them against the mat.
The real phenom of WWE, Undertaker who?

@A0n79fRtW He also had wrestling skill almost equal to Cena's,which means-ZERO.The guy broke his leg while trying to perform a big boot,a BIG BOOT!!!
I saw Giant Gonzalez move in that ring with more grace and poise then Sid Pissant. You can find guys like him in any gym in a 2 block radius.
