Me and my mom fought a lot of times.. but we've had some great memories too. my friend lost his mom about 3 or 4 years ago. he always had fights. one day his mom dropped him off at the school, they had a huge fight & he yelled "i hate you!" & then slammed the car door. she drove off crying & got in a wreck after that. she died that day. & his last words were "i hate you." My mother and I never really had much problems, the only times we had problems was when my brothers would give her trouble. Then she would take it out on me. I fought with my mom all the time when i was your age and through high school. Now that i am 21 we get along a lot better but i have also learned that writing a siimple note to her every now and then or giving her a card will help show her how much you really care. so show her as much as you can you love her but when you cant she will always know you still do!
@XxfaithisinmeXx that is tough not to have your dad or birth dad around, I know because my 2 half sisters father was never really around except for a handful of times in their lifes and one of my half sisters very much resents her father for it while the other just wants to build what ever relationship she can with him for her and her kids. I hope if you ever get the chance to build a relationship with your father you take that chance. because we all make mistakes.

Me and my mom fought a lot of times.. but we've had some great memories too. I regret a lot of stuff especially now that she's gone. she died 7-26-11... i miss her terribly and these are the years i need her most. starting high school without her is gonna be tough.. but i know she's watching over me. my friend lost his mom about 3 or 4 years ago. he always had fights. one day his mom dropped him off at the school, they had a huge fight & he yelled "i hate you!" & then slammed the car door. she drove off crying & got in a wreck after that. she died that day. & his last words were "i hate you." I NEVER WANNA LOSE MY MOM. I LOVE YOU MOM. <3

Everyone say's, they can't wait to move out, their mom pisses them off, they hate being bossed around by them, grounded, everything. But then when it's time to flee the nest, you realize how much you really do love all that stuff. It's all apart of being a teenager. You never thought you'd miss being grounded or told to do clean your room, but you'll miss it. & Then after you leave the house, all you'll want is to make her proud. I don't have my mom... she left me and took my sisters away to.. .and i can't stand being my dad's baby cause he won't let me grow up!! i'm !3!! I love my mom but she left me and :'( people wonder why i wont talk much... i never talk... i just want her back.
So don't take anything for granted. Be greatful you have it cause you never know who has it worst!!

My mother and I never really had much problems, the only times we had problems was when my brothers would give her trouble. Then she would take it out on me. I know that my mother truly loves me and that with all her heart and might she would move the world for me if I asked her to. I know live in another country and to have this many miles between us is one of the most difficult things we have ever gone thru. I love you mom and always will!! Respect your moms and cherish the moments you have!!

my mom and i have had a good relationship for most of my life. we had issues when i got together with my current boyfriend, because he was older than me. thankfully our past together helped us bond together even closer. now, even though i live a few hours away, when i go home to visit, we always make time for just girl time. i love you mom. thank you for always being there for me.

Everytime i hear this i feel bad for the way i treated my mom because i seen whats it like with my cusin. Her mom left years ago when she was about 12 ever since then my cusin had to grow up quick to take care of her little brother most of the time. This has me in tears, My mum tried to kill herself on the 29/09/10 and only by shear luck pulled through, My mum also has a rare disease called Refsums and I've cared for her until I left home (i'm 18). I came so close to losing not only my mummy but also my best friend and this really hit the nail on the head about how life is to short for arguments. I love my mum ...

Hey Im 27 and i am from wisconsin. I teach 6th grade and i am married to my wonderful husband Josh. I had my mama and daddy with me all my life and know i have found a man to move on to . Daddy was always there for me and taught me how to do the work around the farm. Mama taught me how to bake and about being responsible. The other day while my boyfriend was waiting for me in the kitchen to leave, my mom was out there talking to him and the stero was playing this song all through the house. As I was "meeting up" walking from one room to the kitchen the "As you watch me walk down to my future" came on and I got chills! At first when reading this, I was thinking about how tough it would be without having my dad around. I am def a daddy's girl! I can tell you have struggled with the middle-school stage with your mom...I also went through that with my parents. For me, I am soon to be out of high school. And my relationship with my mother has grown SOO much! I truly admire her and appreciate everything she has done for me! And it made me appreciate her even more. I love her soo much! @XxfaithisinmeXx I also went without a dad all my life and your mom no matter the words you speak to her will always know you love her. I fought with my mom all the time when i was your age and through high school. Now that i am 21 we get along a lot better but i have also learned that writing a siimple note to her every now and then or giving her a card will help show her how much you really care. so show her as much as you can you love her but when you cant she will always know you still do!

@XxfaithisinmeXx that is tough not to have your dad or birth dad around, I know because my 2 half sisters father was never really around except for a handful of times in their lifes and one of my half sisters very much resents her father for it while the other just wants to build what ever relationship she can with him for her and her kids. I hope if you ever get the chance to build a relationship with your father you take that chance. because we all make mistakes.

Im the baby of us 2 girls. He was ok at my sisters wedding, cried a bit** but at mine he won't hold it in, he even said it. Im his baby & it is the hardest. There should be a song for her father...it sounds more to a dad especially "he treats your lil girl like a real should". My love for my parents is equal, I want them both to walk me down the aisle!

Great Video!!!!! I love it!! This makes me think about my brother and sister who are 3 and 4 and they lost there dad just a couple days ago and me and there dad were close and even sometimes my dad cares nothing about me and my 13 yr old brother so when my real dad didnt care for me there dad always made sure I had a roof to live under and he cared for all of our family!! R.I.P. LARRY you will be missed
