Even if Calif gets a bailout, it does not address the overall problem of income, which is WAY down. It's like an unemployed Auto worker, he can go out and flip burgers at min wage, but that does not address the problem of the mortgage. He won't make enough to pay it.

California has too much Govt. and too many expenses to continue.  If Calif gets bailed, it will delay things for another 3-4 months, then its the same thing again.

Things are getting bad here in MN. I thought I had lost my job when public health dropped my client. Luckily a private co. took my client, but now gov. Pawlenty is working hard to shut down PCA positions. My other profession (call center/phones) has been shipped to India for the most part so if MN Governor Fuckbag has his way I'll wind up another foreclosure statistic. I think I should preemptively buy an RV so that I can take off for the great white north if that happens! :o)

I live in NY now, biggest bunch of spoiled fucks in the world and I spent alot of time in 6 nations and a little in 9 others, one of them the UK, where people are also spoiled. But not like in NY. I had a lady in the car in front of me who would not go past a green light because she had a good signal on her cellphone. My family struggles everyday to put food on the table and keep a roof overhead and try to prepare for the future, just like many others. Maybe if you are in NYC you should get out to other areas of the state more often where the people are real nice country/city folks.
