100% agree, don't know why people can't see it this way. Yes there are teams that are winning more nowadays but they spend 3-6 times more, can they really do it on a fair budget?, obvious not or they would have.

your mistaken or lack knowledge, even before the transfer window opened, the difference in what United paid for their squad to what Arsenal paid is just over 3 times more (YES, 3 TIMES!! MORE), and we are one of the biggest clubs and spend what is down the middle in relation to the all teams in the league, teams like Stoke and Sunderland can even afford what we have paid for out players; it averages out to just £7m per player.

@OfficerFarvaGOTUROOK Wenger is a great football man - but he would not have lasted 18 months at bigger clubs than Arsenal like Real, Barce, Milan, Inter, Juve, Man Utd, Liverpool, Bayern. He doesn't handle the pressure to win very well and is known outside of Arsenal as a bottler.

i respect what everyone is saying, Arsene Wenger is an absolute genius, better than anybody out there:

Man utd, 1st, CL final spent hundreds of millions in the last few years

Chelsea, 2nd, missed out on trophies, spent hundreds of millions

Man city, 3rd, FA cup, Champions league, spent hundreds and hundreds of millions

Arsenal, 4th, CL, Carling cup final, Top 4 every season, beat barca, spent 80 million.

But thing is, Wenger has a HUGE budget, he just doesnt need to spend!

Wenger - a pure football genius. Personally i think It's great that he has principles and sticks to them. A very admirable quality in the current win at all cost mentality that exists, not only football.

Money is highly proportionate to success in football. With the emirates and chelsea buying the league, why do you expect arsenal to be better? It's hard to accept but unless you strike lucky like ferguson with ronaldo, you will find the richer clubs are higher up. So what is impressive is that despite having a net spending in transfers less than EVERYONE else in the league since 2004, we are 3rd, almost paid emirates debt and now sustainable. Don't let the media turn you against your own club.

The Honor of being the invincible's, Playing for arsenal was one of the best things a professional footballer would dream. Teams use to fear us!! Now its all opposite, Not much fear for smaller teams playing against us.
