  • I love your video global... Go U.S.A. and Israel..

  • What ignorant fools.

The shooting instructor served in Sayeret Matkal, one of the premier CT units in the world and is very well known in the international security community. He has also gone all over the world as a consultant to set up CT units.

I doubt anybody on this list knows even 10% of his CT knowledge.

  • а я так плюшками балуюсь. Если на меня с 30 метров будет бежать человек то пока добежит до 8 получит (прицельных )около 6-7 пуль

byssa1000. you did 2 week corse? Good for you. You learned to shoot. Good for you.

How many rounds were involved per a weapon? 100? 200? It takes years to be good with only a pistol.

Now where was I wrong at my coments 1-5? The whole thinking is bad...

The writing on a shirt "Israeli instructor" doesn't mean that he is good- his students run into a barrel

  • 1) they make 1-st level mistakes - that is what I know from video

    2) thank you but no thank you

    3) I am from Israel too , and I am a shooter.

I know that everyone wants to screw us that doesn't mean that every ex military makes him self as "instructor" - it is joke

  • good israel!! :)

  • To my friends request:

    1) running from 30 meters line to 8 meters in order to shoot 3 targets 50x80 cm THAT MIGHT TO SHOOT YOU BACK. Sweet decision

    2) getting to 8 meters line and then drawing the pistol ( why not chmaber a round during your running?)

    3) during a reload he kneels, looks at the pistol and then gets up ( not shooting at kneeling at the 8 meters)... no coment

    4) doesn't get any cover at 1:19

    5) 1:50- does he have to shit? try to transite from one target into other in that..

  • 1) They might be training something more specific than you know from the video 2) Shut up... 3) They are Israel, if they were as stupid as you think, they would be dead by now... TRUST me... Everyone around them is waiting for them to screw up... Even the bible says everyone wants to kill Israel... They're badass...

  • @GuamKomudo You are a true brother of israel! I like you comment!!!!

  • Awww, I feel cool :]

  • Good video! It brings back memories of my tactical training with the IDF :-)

  • Yes, condition 3 is a bit of a hassle. However, in Israel it's against the law to carry chambered. You can't throw the baby out with the bath water so instructors improvise, adapt and over come by training to be good with it.

  • @CottonwoodCombat indeed. Ilove Itay's intensity.

  • He did a seminar in madrid on march

i was ther and he is a great instructor, agressive, but ever focused at real life.

It has been a pleasure to train with him

  • sweet

  • he is coming in Belgrade in september, its going to be very interesting!

  • Wow, too intense. I train in Krav Maga, but this looks more intense than what I'm used to

  • Itay Gil is the real deal. I've never had better self defense CQ training.

  • Yeah coz this training course is not for civilians...Itay Gil is training the best anti-terrorist group in the world, the I.D.F., thus, the intensity...

  • Excellent demonstration and professionally run institute too. Can be somewhat useful for the average civilian to deal with distressing situations the endangers the individual, group or even family members. If only you guys ran a 'watered down' version for civilians. Nevertheless an impressive display.

  • We use something that called "Muscle Memory" when you do it many times your body remembers the state and when you engage it gets into the right position instinctively locked on target you just have to release as many bullets as you can cause the "lock on" lasts only a few seconds then the muscles get tired and you loose your sights. It works perfect on short ranges till 15 meters after that you have to aim as usual

  • When you train to combat there is no slow motion stage it's as fast and as aggressive as you can and from drill to drill the mistakes are being corrected and the performance is improving (that's how i was taught and it's proved itself in combat)

Speed - Aggression -Precision are thirst

  • That makes sense. I've done some point shooting, but it was in transition from the "front sight press" method of shooting. So then, the drills are progressive to increase accuracy? Does this have something to do with the ocular alignment getting better with each drill? Here in the US we are not usually raised as shooters, so it's hard to draw to line of site instinctively..... do the drills improve this as you go?

  • @CottonwoodCombat condition 3 (empty chamber carry) is still ridiculous and outdated.

  • @HYBRIDCOMBATIVES - Yes, condition 3 is a bit of a hassle. However, in Israel it's against the law to carry chambered. You can't throw the baby out with the bath water so instructors improvise, adapt and over come by training to be good with it.

  • What you sad is right but still when you practice tactical situations it must be as fast and as aggressive as possible and shooting at that ranges must be burst fire not fast aiming. Thirst you practice at a shooting range next to an empty target and when you gain the ability move to the exercises at a "killing house"

  • The shooting is very slow ......

  • It is training, would you not want it to be perfect practice? After all, perfect practice makes perfect performance..... crappy practice makes you a polished turd; you end up looking VERY good doing the WRONG thing! In my humble opinion - LOL

  • Thanks, more to come. And we have some seminars planned in USA

  • Thanks for posting this, I train with Itay's partners in Aust. This is an excellent video.

  • Love it :)
