A lot of bands are " mainstream" for a reason. simply because they are that amazing that the whole world DOES adore them. This band is awesome and I'm a big fan of it. Their music is keeping the New Wave tradition alive. As a matter of fact, synthpop hasn't gone anywhere, neither has dance-punk or electro. They aren't dead and that's final. Ask any electronic dance music artist, he or she will tell you. This music is very retro-sounding for a band that came out not too long ago. It's brilliant and so much better than mainstream music. They're an indie electro-pop band and I love that so much better mainstream pop.
