  • motherfucker got into office and didn't do shit. lol

  • Faggots losers druggies and drunks is what you find on Capitol hill. I bet some of them are still waiting for obozo to take care of them. Just like all the idiots in that crowd obozo is an abject failure

  • Capitol hill faggots and druggies and drunk losers . Obozo is an abject failure just like most of the fools in the crowd

  • In some online communities I go to, people compared the partying after Obama's victory to the Return Of The Jedi ending in that each represented a major victory over something.

Ironic, because as the cracked.com article "6 most depressing happy endings" argues, the RotJ ending doesn't imply as much of a victory over the empire as it seemed to. Similarly, the Obama victory didn't imply as much of a victory over the far right as it seemed to.

  • Obama the first half-caste biracial mixed-race president not black

  • Capital Hill scum.

  • The american people physically voted/put into power Obama, and we the rest of the world voted for him spiritually, telepathically morally. The world hated Bush and that night i slept so well and have been sleeping well ever since. And I am Brit by the way.

  • A bunch of idiots!!!!! Republican forever!

  • I get drunk there!

  • Yeah...I guess your ass is still hurting from the good kicking we gave it in November. Heh?

  • Isn't 'idiot college kids' an oxymoron?

  • The euphoria will wear off then the truth will come out on Obama's capability as president.

  • ^^ Correct.

  • It's only the beginning. America will NEVER again be the country conservatives used to live in.

What a great, wonderful night. And again, the real good stuff is still all ahead of us!

  • Actually, his popularity is holding steady and it will increase as the economy gets better under his leadership.

Oh, and one more thing. I'm glad that the conservatives have been completely discredited. The changes President Obama is making will be PERMANENT. Get used to a very, very different America.

Ha ha ha ha ha...you LOST!!!

  • well im not republican, but you are more than likely wrong, Democrats ruled in the 70s, but the Right took over in a landslide in the 80s and liberals became a bunch of extremist, now its flipped, conservatives are extremist and liberal is mainstream, 20 years it will be flippd once more, this cycle has happened over the last 100 years

  • Actually, Democrats didn't "rule" in the 70's. The Republicans held the White House 7 out of the 10 years in that decade.

What I meant is that the USA will be a very different country in the future because of what happened on Election Night. Like Social Security and Medicare, the changes being brought by President Obama will be permanent ones. Even when Republicans win again---in the distant future---they won't be able to get rid of what will be accomplished in the next eight years. Woo Hoo!

  • I feel SOOO happy for you guys...in fact I feel choked up that I wasn't with you to celebrate this momentous victory. I agree with Marco0g. We Brits feel the same..for to long under the incompetent tyranny of Bush that 'special relationship' was falling apart..He bought your country to ruin amd made it the laughing stock of the World. Now with new energy America will become revitalised and I for one look forward to visiting my friends in the NEWnited States of America next year!! Party on!!
