I considered using the stock map with VLB. Not everything lined up to the 5x5 squares even after going thru all the hassle or scaling & rotating. I decided to try enhancing the map largely to become more familiar with MapTool.
So, I find myself interested. I've watched all the intros that you've done, and I'm wondering- Why wouldn't you just use the Sunless Citadel map straight up? Rather than retooling it and having to mess with it that way.. you could just use the stock map. Some things are lost in translations; Such as depth and 'artsy' corners? Just some thoughts...
I dont remember photoshop all that well, but I believe there is a ruler function in the program that you can skew to. Basically meaning that you would draw a line on the background grid and it would turn the image as needed to get it where you need :)
If I can find out how to do it again I will repost :)
