What the hell?! I have the same jacket, same helmet (but mine is white), I have a green board with green bindings and almost the same goggles. Only big difference are my brown pants o.O
@kewltricks idunno... i kinda like butters.... especially when your doing something on a run thats named after food... or you butter on a picnick table with a sandwich :DDD
im new to getting into tricks in snowboarding and my nitro board just dosent have the flex i want at all, how do i tell what boards are this flexiable? say if i was ordering online and what name brands to look for
@KALTESAUGE02 my board is a burton custom, pretty stiff. i'm thinking about getting a rocker but i also like carving and speeding. maybe is the flying V something for me. do you have experience whit a flying V?
@carp306 Custom flying V is definately a good board and flexy as well. Should make pops easy as hell :) But didn't get the chance to ride it yet. I guess a Burton Hero should do its job even as it isn't that flexy. Still the hero will be my next board, had fun with it.
@carp306 The Hero is a Park Board, it's made for jibbing. It ain't an alround board, but doesn't mean u would be unable to carve. There are just better options for carving and Freeride out there. I'm not that involved in Snowboard brands that I could name u every option u have, but if u look for a carving board at high speed u can choose between an alround board that ain't as flexy as a park board or u take a race board. Maybe there's a flexy allround board out there but I don't know I'm sorry
i have a burton blender, nice board but i tried a skate banana and it flexed so much easier and i could pop ollies about a foot higher it was crazy. unfortunately i don't have nearly enough money to ever afford one, but oh well, one can always dream...
not that i have anything against my burton blender, it's just that it takes a lot of effort to flex it just a little bit
It really sucks, I'm pretty good, but my parents don't wanna but a board for me cause I will grow a bit longer (I'm 14) so I only have boots, and i can't get used to a board cause I always rent one :(
Depends how flexible the board is. I don't know anything about the K2 Vandal but if its a park board with a low flex rating it should be super easy to butter.
@RGuiskate you can learn with any board, but the rocker boards do tend to make it easier to press out farther because of the reverse camber shape. I think you'll be fine. Look up snowboard addictions intro to buttering. They break everything down into bite size pieces. Go to their website, it's in the free lessons section, and they make you sign up for a newsletter for part 2, but not buy anything. Anyway, welcome to the sport.
