  • Comment removed

  • Do you need a special type of board to do that? Cuz rental boards can't seem to handle it.

  • @MrTravisTank It's easier with less stiff board, than you have more flex :)

  • I wuv boarding

  • i have a flex of 5 on my board is that flexible enough to butter ?

  • Song = Dat New New, Kid Cudi

  • do you like kid cudi? jw because this is one of his beats

  • 1:44 i'd love to but my board flex is 7 sooo not gonna happen

  • my board is a little big for me will this make butters harder

  • i broke my capita board buttering... it snapped

  • I can tail press for miles but can't spin on it for shit :/

  • Uber cool

  • @norbat1 No it will not. Jib boards tend to have rocker in them (that upward curve) you should be fine.

  • I have a Burton Hero 134 cm 2010 V rocker should it be hard to butter

  • my board has an upward curve. does this make butters more difficult?

  • dat new new

  • so much better than expervillage!

  • best back ground music ever. Gotta love Cudi

  • when I butter on a box I cal it "buttering the bread" :p lol

  • where is this place ?

  • Anybody hate the term "butters" as much as I do? Why can't we just say manual, doesn't sound as stupid.

  • @kewltricks right ahahah

  • @kewltricks idunno... i kinda like butters.... especially when your doing something on a run thats named after food... or you butter on a picnick table with a sandwich :DDD

  • @ kewltricks not as buttery

  • @gorovlev000 if you have the money you should go with a burton nug or v-rocker.

  • Okay! I´ll try it today :)

  • Freaking AMAZING advice!! Just wish it was as easy as it looks :P haha!

  • if you had a little wider stance just a tiiiny bit, the butter would look better.

  • I have a Burton Sherlock it's not ss flexible as that I hope I can figure out how to butter with it.

  • QUESTION: my board isnt tht flexible so can i still do butters?

  • lululu

  • im new to getting into tricks in snowboarding and my nitro board just dosent have the flex i want at all, how do i tell what boards are this flexiable? say if i was ordering online and what name brands to look for

  • is this possible with a FORUM MANUAL board? Is this more difficult?

  • sierrasnowboard: best trick tips on youtube

  • Thanks dough

  • Simple and Fun... ryte on Doug E' FRESH :)

  • im looking for a board that is flexible, has good pop and is good for rails. anyone know any good boards?

  • @gorovlev000 i rock an arbor del rey and its exactly what you described and the best decision ive ever made

  • nice shades...

  • He sux..

  • yeah i was also wondering what kind of board. i guess it would not be easy with a camber board, would it??

  • @carp306 depends on the flex of the board. Guess with a 4/10 ull be fine. There are Camber park boards as well. I prefer rocker anyways^^

  • @KALTESAUGE02 my board is a burton custom, pretty stiff. i'm thinking about getting a rocker but i also like carving and speeding. maybe is the flying V something for me. do you have experience whit a flying V?

  • @carp306 Custom flying V is definately a good board and flexy as well. Should make pops easy as hell :) But didn't get the chance to ride it yet. I guess a Burton Hero should do its job even as it isn't that flexy. Still the hero will be my next board, had fun with it.

  • @KALTESAUGE02 did you find any trouble with carving and high speeds, with the hero?or is it a good all-round board?

  • @carp306 The Hero is a Park Board, it's made for jibbing. It ain't an alround board, but doesn't mean u would be unable to carve. There are just better options for carving and Freeride out there. I'm not that involved in Snowboard brands that I could name u every option u have, but if u look for a carving board at high speed u can choose between an alround board that ain't as flexy as a park board or u take a race board. Maybe there's a flexy allround board out there but I don't know I'm sorry

  • @KALTESAUGE02 ok, thanks! I think I just going to try some different boards..

  • what kind of board is he using?

  • "salutations to all, you can call me cudi or mister extravagant cus im getting my money"

  • Can i pull this of with a V-rocker board ?

  • @danold06 work out and get your legs stronger

  • i have a burton blender, nice board but i tried a skate banana and it flexed so much easier and i could pop ollies about a foot higher it was crazy. unfortunately i don't have nearly enough money to ever afford one, but oh well, one can always dream...

not that i have anything against my burton blender, it's just that it takes a lot of effort to flex it just a little bit

  • I regret buying my burton vapor when I see vids like these :(. Halfpipe is a good time but this looks so playful.

  • Man, he is GOOD

  • 0:07 i wanna do that but i dont have enough strength in my legs cuz im a 12 year old but i can only butter 180 degrees but i wanna do atleast 360

    any tips

  • It really sucks, I'm pretty good, but my parents don't wanna but a board for me cause I will grow a bit longer (I'm 14) so I only have boots, and i can't get used to a board cause I always rent one :(

  • @MsSkateAllDay1 Bro, im 14 and i've been using the same deck for 3 years haha its pretty fun

  • @MsSkateAllDay1 wtf? buy a cheap one... renting is way to expensive if you do it often

  • @KleinUndBlau yeah, I know. Maybe I can beg for one xD

  • My board has a flex of 2 but camber, should it give me a hard time flexing?

  • I feel it's more safe to learn this trick than park:p

  • is the k2 vandal good fore butters?

  • @MrJoakimsk8

Depends how flexible the board is. I don't know anything about the K2 Vandal but if its a park board with a low flex rating it should be super easy to butter.

  • @Xenmorpher

    thanks!!!!!!!

  • teach me how to doug teach teach me how to doug

  • song please !!

  • 1:38 Do a barrel roll!!

  • whats the move at 0:12 where Doug grabs the nose while the tails still on the ground? I see people do it on pipes

  • @HI101094

    Tail block, You're welcome.

  • @MusicAddictionist thanks man! time to practice it

  • What's a jib board?

  • @rednosedraindeerr a board thats flexible and also tends to be shorter

  • Do you need a jib board for this?

  • i have a burton hero v-rocker, i am new to snowboarding,, is it a good board for there kind of stuf?

  • @RGuiskate you can learn with any board, but the rocker boards do tend to make it easier to press out farther because of the reverse camber shape. I think you'll be fine. Look up snowboard addictions intro to buttering. They break everything down into bite size pieces. Go to their website, it's in the free lessons section, and they make you sign up for a newsletter for part 2, but not buy anything. Anyway, welcome to the sport.

  • what is the stiffness of his board ?

  • What jacket is it?

  • Hey everybody......stop asking if your board is good for this trick, Ideally you want a flexible board with a rocker profile, twin kick and symmetrical if you want to have it feel the same both ways.

NOW GO CHECK THE SPECS OF YOUR BOARDS!!!!!

  • how do you spin without catching your edge?
