@71019942082 PFFFFFFF I can see how you can get confused. There are vampires in To Aru as seen in TAMni vol.2. There is some speculation that Touma is a vampire, but his brain was completely modified by Academy City, so whenever he wants blood, his misfortune just multiplies. After the Index arc though, Touma actually got his memory wiped out to the point of no return, so he dosnet know if he has any blood urges...

@Ginnchann3150 Toaru Majutsu no Index is a great series, and it is currently scheduled to make its English dub debut later this year. In fact, the first volume of "A Certain Scientific Railgun," (the spin-off) is going to be released in June.

Some people complain about a lack of character development in the first season, but I believe they overlook something. While it is not the strongest trait, there are certain changes in character relationships & attitudes which builds towards that area.

@PikBube3 Funimation announced it licensed it last year during an anime event on July 2010, but there have been no updates since then other than the vague fact that they are working on the first season and Railgun. Hopefully, that will change soon.

It certainly will be tough to match Accelerator's Japanese voice actor, but it is not impossible (chances are the English voice will be good but not as good).

@desrtsku The Railgun manga shows what Misaka tried to do to put an end to the sisters project including having her fight ITEM.  The Touma and Accelerator fight is also slightly different because you see it from Misaka's and Accelerator's point of view and you get another glimpse of Acclerator's past in the manga as well.

Having the Sister's arc animated from the Railgun perspective would be interesting to say the least.

@Knowledgeseeker the railgun anime was a fail, that all i have to say to this. The manga is like 100 times better. Also, all the Touma - Misaka moments were better explained in the manga and didn't even show up in the anime.

The fight between Touma and Accelerator was way better too, because Accel's reaction of getting hit looked more realistic.

I totally agree, an anime that follows the manga would be the best.

@PikBube3 I would agree the manga is a lot better than the anime. The manga tied up better with the Index timeline, and I hated the fact the animators deviated from the manga too much. I hate that they took out some of Touma's scenes in the anime because he is may favorite character in the Toaru universe (he is the true main character after all). If they would have been true to the manga he would have appeared in at least two more episodes. If they animate this correctly, I would love it.

And after that they could come up with season 3 of Index. Actually, there is only one problem i have with the Railgun manga,.. only one new chapter per month, and this time even two months D:

@PikBube3 Accelerator is my third favorite character after Touma and Misaka.

Unfortunately, that is a problem that plagues many good mangas like it did for FMA, Claymore, and D.Gray-man. The fact is that monthly releases suck and there are generally not enough pages for them. However, Railgun is more of a special case because the guy who writes the light novels is also responsible for the Railgun manga as well, so you can guess that he has a busy schedule.

Although they will need to make the season either shorter or wait for more material to be available because I think they know a number of fans did not like most of the filler episodes.

@Knowledgeseeker I guess they currently have enough material, with the SS novels like To Aru Jihanki no Fanfare, Liberal Arts City or Shopping Mall Demonstration. Tough those 3 might look filler-ish, they are actually far better than the Kihara telestina fillers (TAJNF because it introduces Gunha, LAC and SMD since they introduce magicians for the first time in the railgun series and explain somehow what will happen later in index), though I think it's better to release those stories as OVAs.

@desrtsku The very fact those novels were properly made by the author (at least I think they were) already makes them more appealing that most of those filler episodes. Didn't one of those novels take place in June or July or something like that? I suppose a flashback story arc would be fine if that was the case (after all we would not want too many inconsistencies with the anime timeline).

@Knowledgeseeker actually, the TAJNF was written by the author of Durarara! and Baccano! (with the approbation of kamachi Kazuma-san of course) and was set with SMD on the end of July (both just before the sister arc) ; and LAC on September (the week of September 3rd i think). So better release TAJNF as an OVA since it's short and all + Misaka vs Gunha in a J.C staff OVA level animation would be great!!!

I suppose those would be interesting OVAs. Railgun would probably be better off sticking to OVAs for now since there probably still isn't enough manga material for a full season.

@desrtsku While that is true, the anime actually kind of cheated them a little. They were not merely suppose to have a cameo, but they were suppose to have a conversation. They simply decided to animate them for four to five seconds without hiring voice actors.

Luckily, Mugino has recently received a voice actor in the PSP game, so here hoping that means another season of Railgun and Index will be made (she will play a big role in both of those seasons after all).

@Knowledgeseeker I think the reason why they cut the conversation, was because they didn't want to search for voice actors. They can't just take anyone for an important role like that. After all, those four girls will reapear in the new season (either Index or Railgun if there is one) and the conversation would just have been barely a minute long. In my opinion, it was chust the cheapest solution for the company

Oh well, we can't always get what we want. Hopefully, the fact they got Mugino a voice actor for the game means they plan on animating a new season for either series.

@Knowledgeseeker Just because Mugino has a voice now in the PSP game, doesn't mean they'll stick with the same voice. There maybe another voice actor that'll be twice as better as the current one from the PSP game and that actor will take the part. I would like to see these four in season 3, besides in the first ending of Index these guys got so little screen time as did other characters.

@UzamakiNaruto085 I am aware of that, but chances are decent that it will stick. When it comes to reprising their roles, Japanese voice actors are much more reliable in that field. Sure English voice actors have come a long way in that regard, but the turnover rate is still higher.
