Laws need to constantly be changed in order to account for the realities of the present. Slavery was legal. Segregation was legal. The genocide against Am. Indians was legal. The law to keep women from voting. and finally to all those that hate immigrants, you should realize that these immigrants are the backbone to our society, without them our ways of life would crumble. For example, your normal 1 story, 3 bedroom, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom house sell around 80-90 K in some states, without the immigrants to build them for cheap pay, the same house would go for around 320-360 K in the same states.

The best way in my opinion to solve this problem and crime issues concerning illigal immigrants would be to make all current illigal immigrants Citizens, if they do not posses any major crimes, and set a fair number of immigrants that can enter each year and make the immigration system easier.
