@MrZer000 Yeah, wasn't Resident Evil so much better when it was nothing but bad camera angles, stupid puzzles, horrible controls, reused plots, and arbitrary inventory systems? No? Didn't think so.  Resident Evil has shed its mask as a survival horror series, and evolved past the artistic demands of fans to become a much more varied franchise.

I ran through the levels of RE4, no scary feeling, no shocking moments... The same feeling im havin when im playing Modern Warefare..

@MrZer000 So you weren't scared by RE4, so what? Quite a few people played through the original games and weren't scared by them at all despite the 'atmosphere'. That doesn't make them bad.

Resident Evil has run its course a survival horror game, and it had a damn good run: RE 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica, the REmake, and all the little spin-offs.

Now it's an action game, and while that may not be your preference, it's kept RE alive and attracted new fans who have also come to like the old ones

@JohnnyC133 A Survival horror game SHOULD scare you, otherwise something went wrong. Dead Space, Siren, Condemned, Silent Hill, they kept that concept, some of them got much more action than the new RE games, but they didnt become an arcade shooter...

To me RE died. I always have been a supporter of biohazard, but every good franchise is doomed to end one day.

Anyway, we dont have to discuss this any longer. I dont want to keep you from playing them, but you have to accept my position...

At least OB1´s events occur before the events of RE2, since the underground facility has still people in there, while they are all dead when Leon and Claire arrive to the facility.

The track feels like it's summing up the story of all the RE games with that tragic tune... They should use this as the main theme for the whole series!!

Not a half bad offshoot from the primary storyline. Its good to see a game that breaks away from the 'this is what happened' to show you simple things like the survivors trying to escape. Not vital to the overall plot, but satisfying in its own way.

The game itself was frustratingly dull at points but the soundtrack and the multi-player co-op made up for it. Feel kinda bad for Birkin though.

Not really. Break the title down: "resident" meaning inherit, ever present; "evil" of course meaning the opposite of good. The tiles literay means "inherit evil," or "ever-present evil," which could mean Umbrella itself or the evil contained in the characters who work for Umbrella. Nothing really supernatural about the title at all.

It's simply called "Biohazard OutBreak Main Theme", composed by Akihiko Matsumoto for the sound track.
