hey i just got this phone and i really want to learn more about wat it can do like modify my screens and other applicatons...and also when i first got my phone at the bottom of my screen my tabs that had the phone,message and other ones and i cant find where that setting is to get it back, where can i find it?
i am planing to buy this phone ... among with 8GB flash memo ... if i have to buy special memory or download special soft where to be able to put that memory om it ... can you help me out and tell me ? if not tell me also .. if you know of course !
You need to install an SDHC patch (or flash your KS20 with a custom ROM). You can find both the patch and the custom ROM on xda-developers. You will probably need Resco Explorer or Total Commander to apply the patch.
martintoft did you just add the registry information to be able to use the 8GB MicroSD SDHC card, or did you do something else not mentioned in the post?
I didn't do anything not mentioned in the post. You also have to replace a file or two in the Windows directory - and I used Resco Explorer for that, as I don't think the default file browser will let you do that. It should all be explained in the post. Someone made a thorough explanation on page 7 in the post, I think it was.
The KS20's maximum memory without the registry tweak is 2GB. If you use the registry tweak from that link mentioned by martintoft it shows you how to use memory cards up to 8GB.
My question is, do you still use a MicroSD card or do you have to buy a seperate SDHC card?
could you please post some links where i can find some cool apps for windows mobile? i want to buy the ks 20 myself and was looking for some good websites, but wasn´t able to find the right ones...
where can i get one?

If you want to learn more about KS20 and Windows Mobile you should look at MoDaCo and xda-developers.
You can get the Today plugin by going to Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Today -> Items -> mark the LG one (can't remember the exact name).

I don't know, but I think you can find it with a bit of luck in USA, though I don't think any of the carriers have it.

I have only tried with an 8 GB microSDHC card, but you should be able to use all microSD cards - also e.g. 2 GB cards.

It's not in English, it's in German. Standard German Vodafone ROM. Some of the programs and plug-ins are in English, however :)
I'm looking forward to the English ROM myself ;)

It is a program that downloads the maps over the internet - you need to be connected to the internet to use it :)
