Could this AK use any other kinds of magazines such as the G&P AK47 Waffle Pattern Magazine? Or will it only accept the provided magazine.

does the bolt lock to the rear when the mag is empty?

@DrPracticleHat The default setting is "NO", the bolt will not locks to the rear when empty, but you cannot dry fire neither, just like a real AK. It also came with a modify part for you to exchange, which enables the dry fire function

@DrPracticleHat No, the bolt won't lock back when the mag is empty. Not on this particular GHK Gas Blow Back AKM nor does it lock back on the real AK47/AKM/MAC90. So this AKM operates and functions exactly like the real thing. =)
