Beth calls him Big Nose because he used to have a golf ball-sized growth on his nose. He liked to sit on the porch and drink all night with Beth until she quit drinking so heavy and told him not to bring booze around no more. He blames me for that.

A skeeter hawk is like a huge mosquito thingee that eats mosquitos and not people. Looks just like a mosquito only giant sized.
