Ghost doesn't add damage, keep you from dying, make you reload your gun faster or shoot faster. It only helps Hide from killstreaks except blackbird which isn't hard to get so why does everyone complain?

Dude, I love the sentry in BOps! It actually does some pretty good work on a lot of maps, and in modes like CTF or HQ when you're on a spawn delay it's nice to have out there still defending while you're dead.

Besides... if anyone really wanted Ghost Pro... all they need to do is put on the sentry gun killstreak on themselves and let it get stolen. It's quite possibly the easiest pro perk requirement to get outside of the Hardened's "destroy 1 peice of equipment thru a wall".

I feel the same way about Team deathmatch as you do for search and destroy where clans party up and u automatically stand at a disadvantage.. Idk if its the same on ps3 but we recently got an update for 360 where they took out mercenary team-deathmatch and im consistently losing games to clans who decide to party up in team deathmatch. my kdr is roughly about 30-10 but my team doesn't or better yet can't pick up the extra kills to take the win.

Back in COD1, we didn't have regenerating health, little dots on the minimap, names on your enemies, sprinting, a long-range autoaiming one-hit kill melee attack, killstreaks, perks, attachments, the same gun with different names, levels, experience, ranks, emblems, classes, bullet penetration, equipment, or tactical grenades. We had 4-5 guns per faction, a map, people older than 13, dedicated servers and rcons, and game balance. Still the best after seven years.

@pyrotoz People complain about Ghost and Second Chance not because they're overpowered but because they're annoying. And there is one overpowered aspect in this game: the FAMAS.

You should try out the FN FAL. Its hipfire is not as good as the M14 but it doesn't need a grip (or a sight possibly) and therefore use a perk other than Warlord Pro.

COD4 on the PC, the M14 is amazing. I also thought that the M14 should have the rapid fire attachment and make it fully auto, with a decrease in accuracy and increase in recoil.

I found myself having to throw my sentry gun flares at the enemies so i could get ghost pro.

it is that scarce.

I use it now as a kill-streak even when i already have ghost pro.

with the right placement, it can get you as many kills as a chopper gunner can (especially nowadays where everyone is packing a strela 3)

I don't really have a problem with Ghost. I just learnt to not trust my radar entirely.

I'm not convinced Ghost slows down the pace of the game that much, I think the spawns are responsible. Instead of people spawning somewhere predictable like near teammates, they always seem to spawn in some random tree three miles away so no one finds each other for bloody ages.
