  • Nice.

  • I wonder if they based Sky High off of this?

  • I made it a point to watch Kid Super Power Hour as a kid on Saturday mornings and I never liked to miss it.

  • This is either Hippy Hogwarts or a mix between classic Archie with Superfriends.

  • I'm usually well versed in Filmation works. And I have absolutely no memory of this show. Was is made for Canada or something? What channel did it premiere on?

  • @RX552VBK I think it was on NBC on Saturday mornings, circa 1982 or 83. It had a cartoon segment followed by a live-action segment, usually a musical performance.

  • @sickphil71 It aired on NBC during the 1981-82 season.

  • @RX552VBK No, it was made in and aired in the us. It aired on nbc but only lasted for one season.

  • @WarriorSmurf

  • Wow. Probably one of the best superhero cartoons I've never seen. I've heard about this show from Jeff Rovin's Encyclopedia of Superheroes. Was the movie Sky High inspired in part by this show?

  • I remeber seeing this

  • wtf

  • The fist hitting the alarm bell was ripped off from the old Smokey Stover comic strip (by Bill Holman).

  • Didn't Darth VADER APPEAR IN THIS? As well as the Looney Tunes?

  • @boru25 No, but Captain Marvel and Mary Marvel did, (As far as the Looney Tunes are concerned, you might be thinking of the "Daffy and Porky Meet the Groovie Goolies" episode of "ABC's Saturday Superstar Movie" from 1972.

  • Classic cartoons the best

  • I loved this! :)
