Even Thrall withheld this but he also tried to find ways for Horde-Alliance peace. With Garrosh and Varian in the Thrones, peace may be a bit harder to come by.

King Llane Wrynn was assassinated by Garona Halforcen, under the influence of Cho'gall, and Anduin Lothar took the throne after that. King Terenas Menethil II was King of the Alliance of Lordaeron, which all human kingdoms were united in, if Lothar was the King of Stormwind during the time of WC2, it would still be logical if he went to Terenas for aid against the orcs, seeing as he was the Faction Leader.

Someone should set up a WarCraft 2 (Second War) era private server in WoW, with the races for each faction at the time and only the Eastern Kingdoms.

@Xocturne Back when WarCraft 2 came out there were no Blood Elves, no Night Elves, no corruption by demons on the Horde and their redemption.

A lot of the new stuff in terms of lore was added recently, back then the factions were pretty straightforward, ugly was evil, pretty was good.

Nonetheless it was better than this bullshit lore we have today.

Also, High Elves still exist and are part of the Alliance, its just their numbers are less than Blood Elves.

" at the lore panel ( i think it was ) it also semi confirmed ( as in a smirk, that is ) that the last expansion would put the player at level 100, We also have Sargeras left, the burning legion isnt destroyed, and the titans are still missing.. The last two expansions if the continue the 5 lvl per ex, are in my opnion, going to be the best.

i don't think WC IV is ever going to come out! not anytime soon! the reason to that is...they are mainly focusing on improving the coming expansion of SCII and Diablo III. Therefore, there isn't enough time provided for another warcraft RTS game...stick to WCIII or II for the time being or play SCII, its not bad for an RTS game, really.
