@VitalSoX everyone has their own opinion and ways for the DrDre Beats, i got mine today and i compared them with the bose i prefer bose but the music i listen to is followed up by DrDreBeats SoloHD's.. bose are aimed at certain songs it depends what kind of listener you are, dont judge and ruin it for others let them find out for themselves.

Depends on what you're looking for out of your music. For 150, you could look at some Audio Technica ATH M-50s that are rated far superior for a fairly neutral, yet bass-capable sound, and for half the price. Just saying.

The only reason people by Dr. Dre Beats is because of the design. As well of the fact everyone has them. I have the beats also but I got them before the SMS by 50 & Souls by Ludacris came out. I honestly think these are really good but they got my attention to buy these because they look beast. As you can see, athletes or any such person gets "PAID" to wear them as an advertisement to grab users. Technically I'm using the SMS by 50, and as a backup the Solo's by Ludacris.

It would be better to say that you should not spend more than what you think your music collection is worth. But for this role of hearing your music, the beats are severely lagging. They are mostly a fashionable headband that happens to have a cheap, muddy speaker inside.

Also, better speakers were invented for the listener, not because the pros wanted it.

Haha he thinks the studios sound better and is "on another level" but people just don't know that they are using the same driver. The only reason the studios sound a little bit better is because it's noise canceling which lessens the distortions. So if you think the studios sound amazing you're probably being tricked by their marketing

imo you lost ll credibility when you said they sounded amazing and better than bose. Dre's are 90% made with asthetics in mind. Sound quality came second and the sound that comes out of these sounds congested. The studios are alright but the bass is overpowring. They would be a good headphone for 80$ but you're paying for the brand so what do you expect.

The Beats Solo HD's sound is far from "perfect".

Jesus. the mid bass hump on these is awful.

What Beats by Dre does is add un pleasant mid bass ( not the pleasant sub-bass ) and tries to cover everything that sounds bad. Sure it hides it, but oh my god, the amount of mid-bass hump, makes it so that I can't listen to these period.

Look for the V-Moda M80 or maybe the more bassier V-Moda Lp2...

I have listened to the beats and compared them to the v-moda Crossfade lp's and IMO the crossfades are more durable and have a sound that is second to none. If anyone is considering getting the Beats, please check out the V-Moda Crossfade LP's FIRST! (BTW, The crossfades have bass that is EXTREMELY tight and punchy!) Cheers!

I was at best buy and I listened to these and then I listened to skullcandy Roc Nation Headphones. In my opinion, the skullcandies were much better, probably because they had bigger space for bigger, 50mm speakers. But it was also almost 100 dollars less.
