  • now comment about the present,... i mean the present suffering of moro in Zambuanga and Basilan.......!!!

Yes, I am tired of seeing all these dirty politicians using tax money to enrich themselves, making a mockery of our laws and justice system, while many people are going hungry each day. And you can count I'm not the only one who despise these bad officials.

  • (Continuation from "...I'm not the only one who despise these bad officials.")

But in light of this, there are good people out there who do care about our country and who are actively working for a better Philippines. I know for those people who have gone through difficult experiences due to poverty and or abuses by authorities, hope seems like nowhere to be found. But we should not lost our hope and we should not stop trying.

  • (Continuation from "... and we should not stop trying.")

One thing I learned in this life is that the good will always prevail over evil. No matter how much evil out there good will always come out the victor. We have a new president, let's support him and give him a chance to make a difference and reform the government. Progess doesn't happen overnight, it takes time.

  • mujanamoliva:

The government is not perfect. There are officials up there who are corrupt and manipulative. We should work together to rid the government from these bad politicians.

The real issue in Mindanao, and this is true in Luzon and Visayas as well, is poverty. Because of poverty, some people were compelled to do things they normally wouldn't do -- like joining or supporting a rebel group.

  • @labtec2050 in MILF poverty is not the issue... it's like a person have a valuable that stolen by another person, and he wants to get what is belong to him... that is the issue here...

  • mujanamoliva wrote " MILF poverty is not the issue. "

I have to differ. Poverty has a lot to do with what's going on in this country, especially in Mindanao. This is the reason why Mastura described the lives of the people down south as being "miserable." Just look at Basilan and Ampatuan, Maguindanao as examples. People there barely make a living. Most of the families in those places couldn't afford to send their kids to college.

  • @labtec2050 Labtec2050:

If the government will sign the MOA-AD i can assure to you, that we will develop like the development of Saudi Arabia,, 100% sure,,, inshaallah, so i hope you understand.....

  • mujanamoliva wrote "it's like a person have a valuable that stolen by another person, and he wants to get what is belong to him... that is the issue here"

If this is the issue, then why not claim the entire Philippines? If we travel back in time before the Spaniards came to our shores, before the country was even called the Philippines, the entire Philippine archipelago belong to a sultane family -- a Muslim family.

  • (Continuation from "the entire Philippine archipelago belong to a sultane family -- a Muslim family.")

This family had relatives who were also sultans in various islands. If we may recall our history, we had Lakandula of Tondo, Manila. Raja Humabon and Raja Zula of Cebu, and Lapu-lapu or Polakaw of Mactan Island. So why just Mindanao?

  • @labtec2050 @labtec2050 said " why just Mindanao"

only Mindanao because, luzon and Visayas have already colonize and defeat by the Spaniards... and the people of Mindanao fight the Spaniards until, the Spaniards surrendered,, that is why they only got the Luzon And Mindanao....

  • mujanamoliva:

We should not make this a Christian vs. Muslim issue. Let's not go to that. We're in the 21st century, we are not barbarians. We should be more tolerable and respect each other's faith.

Now, there are people out there (Christians, Muslims and whatnot) who don't think that they should mingle with people of other religion, they need to wake up.

  • @labtec2050 i hope so, but the issue here is all about the possession of the mindanao.... its not about the religion,... we are not part of the philippines......

  • mujanamoliva wrote " its not about the religion"

Unfortunately, some people think that this is a Christian vs. Muslim affair. Bravo thought that this is so by saying "Sa aming mga Muslim ang Mindanao! Wala kayong karapatan!" on national TV. So, apparently he hates non-Muslims and wants them all out. Why do you think he said that if this is not a religious issue as you said?

  • mujanamoliva wrote "i think you true answer is NO, don't deny it..."

I'm not a predujice person. I don't hate or dislike a person because he has a different religion. My impression of a person is based on his character -- not his religion.

I say those military men, whom you said committed a crime against innocent Muslim civilians, should be punished.

I truly believe that good Muslims and Christians can work together to make a better, peace-loving country.

  • @labtec2050 labtec2050 said" military men, whom you said committed a crime against innocent muslim civilians, should be punished" are they really punished???? nabalitaan ko wala ding punishment sa kanila... so it means walang paki ang government kung ubosin man kami ng mga sundalo nila... so we need to be separated,, or else they will kill us all, i hope you understand what we feel,...

  • mujanamoliva wrote "are they really punished???? nabalitaan ko wala ding punishment sa kanila"

I said they should be punished. It's sad and outrageous that some military personnel, who are tasked to protect and serve the people would abuse their power and harm civilians.

Citizens of all faiths (Christians, Muslims, etc) should work together to stop this kind of abuse. That kind incident didn't just happen to Filipino Muslims. It also happened to Christians throughout the nation.

  • mujanamoliva:

I still do not support the separation of Mindanao from the Philippines. For me, it's not the solution to the poverty issue. (The MOA-AD, by the way, did not mention about separation, but to have more control on taxes, ancestral lands and what have you). I also don't think war is a solution, in fact, it is the opposite and only makes the situation much worser. Hopefully, this meeting with Pres. Aquino and Mr. Murad in Tokyo would give way to peace and prosperity in our country.

  • @mujanamoliva

    "weak up, friend weak up"

Translation: Manghina ka, kaibigan manghina ka.

    Hehehe! Nice one. Panalo ka!

  • @labtec2050 labtec wrote " It's sad and outrageous that some military personnel abuse their power and harm civilians..

pero sana naisip mo yan bago mo hisgahan si Dr. Mastura sa mga naunang comment mo....... you should not judge us if you don't know everything happening to us. unless you go here and experience the suffering that we are facing now.. SEE YOU!!!!

Yes, I have looked at all the angles before I made my comments and I still don't agree with Dr. Mastura.

  • @labtec2050 labtec wrote " i have looked at all angels before i made my comments"

OH really!!! baka naman hindi angel yon baka demonyo na nagpapanggap na angel... kasi nd mo nakikita ang totoo,.. or should i say, hindi mo alam ang tama sa mali....

  • @mujanamoliva "baka naman hindi angel yon baka...."

It was a minor typo and you knew I meant "angles," and that was your response? Wow. All this time I've been talking to a village idiot. Anyways, I don't see any reason to continue this conversation with you since you're not a sane person. I do have one more thing to say before I end this -- you and your MILF friends are nothing but a bunch of criminals or terrorists, and you're all going down. Good-luck dreaming for a separate Mindanao.Hahaha!

  • @labtec2050 really, see your military companion at hell...,,, good luck to us? hmmmmmmmm! good luck to you!!!!!!.... Indio...,,, 19 dead ignorant solders, bye!!!!!! want some addition to that 19 lives? hahahaha

  • @mujanamoliva

LOL. It's been over a decade since the Moro Illiterate Liberation Front (MILF) started trying to take over Mindanao. They just don't have what it takes. They're just a bunch of illiterate idiots like yourself. Hahahaha!

  • @labtec2050

Idiot?? do you know what it means? it's a greek term.... w/c means what????

I thought filipinos are the slaves of spaniards,,, and they called it Indio w/c means, stupid..!!!! we are not the one who colonized by the spaniards,,. actually philippines is the land of moro... so it means moros are the original people here... some of the places there in luzon are still named from its original name like Raja Sulaiman.... now tell me who are the terrorist here???? it clear,,, its you...

  • @mujanamoliva You're all idiots because until now you still don't have Mindanao. Hahahahaha

  • @labtec2050 hahahaha! funny, you're getting crazy, aren't you?

why do I talking to an autistic person like you..,,,..,. just mine your own business.. bitch..

  • @mujanamoliva You know what's crazy? Trying so hard to convince people that your MILF friends own Mindanao when it's clearly belong to the Philippines. Goodluck dreaming though. Hahahaha.

  • The govt, must immediately stop negotaiting with the milf WALANG PATUTUNGUHAN IYAN,paikot ikutin ng mag loko lokong MUSLIMS ang usapan.MABUTI SINABI NI MR.MASTURA na HINDE pilipino ang mga moro at independent ang gusto nila walang iba at kung hindi maibigay kahit na MAKAUBUSAN NG LAHI LALABAN SILA.madam president STOPS negotiating with the IDIOTS hindi naman sila palang pilipino ,lagi nilang binabangit ang MALAYSIA dapat PALAYASIN NA SILA DEPORTATIONS to malaysia ang boss nila o pulbusin na.

  • @auhey

  • @auhey che! ikaw ang lumayas kase nd nyo naman pagmamay ari ang midanao, mindanao is not belong to the philippines... mismong mga Pare na sa Batican ang nag sabi.... binabanggit namin ang malaysia kasi para maipakita sa buong mundo na peiste makipag negotiate ang mga idiot na filipino...

  • He mentioned "independent in a way that our lives will not be miserable." One could only think that by "miserable" he meant the current situation of the majority of Filipino Muslims in Mindanao as being poor. But if he just look around, it's not just the Filipino Muslims in Mindanao, but a good number of Filipinos are living in poverty in Luzon and the Visayas, and that number is increasing rapidly especially now that the whole world is in economic crisis.

  • Did the Filipino Moros actually believe that by separating Mindanao from the Philippines it would end their misery? Then my friends, they need to wake up.

The real problem in Mindanao is oblivious to religion. The problme is neither Islam nor Christianity. It's CORRUPTION.

  • If we look back in time, the Philippine government had given autonomy to some regions of Mindanao since this is the demand of the MNLF. A kind of federal states, the regions under ARMM (Autonomous Regions for Muslim Mindanao) are governed by Filipino Muslims who established their own laws under the Philippines. But what happened to these regions since they became autonomous in the 1980s? Not much. In fact, killings and kidnap for ransoms became worst and the economy went straight down.

  • @labtec2050 because of election, binigyan nyo nga kami ng ARMM piro sakop parin ito ng Philippines... w/c is myroong maruming ihemplo ng politika sa pilipinas.....

  • @mujanamoliva What do you think is the solution to the problems in Mindanao? Do you know why the ARMM was created?

  • @labtec2050 the government must give what we want. they must sign the Moa-ad, and mindanao became a separated nation from the philippines Theritory... kc hndi naman tlga belong ang mindanao sa philippines.. dati kase magkalaban ang tlga ang christian at muslims, bata man oh matanda pinapatay.. pero because of the agreement of MNLF and Government of the philippines natigil ang pagpapatayan.... ang problema don hindi parin natigil ang pamumuno ng mga christian over muslims.

  • mujanamoliva wrote "dati kase magkalaban tlga ang christian at muslims, bata man oh matanda pinapatay.."

Oh, you mean like what your Cmdr. Bravo did to those innocent Christians living in a small village in Lanao del Sur. Yeah, he murdered them including helpless children out of rage that the government had failed to sign the MOA-AD document. You want to see more that?

We are not living in Barbaic times. And to be honest, only evil men would commit such atrocities.

  • @labtec2050 are you sure na si bravo talaga ang may gawa non,,, alam mo rin ba ang ginawa ninyo, my mga resident ng maguindanao na nakasaky sa bangka... at binumba yun ng mga air force ng philippines, buntis na babae 2 batang lalaki, at isang batang babae... nangyari yan before sa issue ni bravo.... now tell me sino ang totoong evil?

  • mujanamoliva wrote "are you sure na si bravo talaga ang may gawa non..."

Yes, it was all over the news. The survivors themselves told what happened and who was responsible. Bravo denied this (typical) and said it was just a number of his men who committed the atrocity and that he never ordered them to kill those defenseless people including children.

Did the public actually believe him? What do you think?

  • mujanamoliva wrote " pero because of the agreement of MNLF and Government of the philippines natigil ang pagpapatayan"

    Did it really stop??? :O

  • @labtec2050 yes! natigil ang pag papatayan ng muslims and christian, but still nagkaroon ulit ng alitan because of former president erap estrada in 2000!! ngayon sino ang masama...

  • @labtec2050 sure! 101%

Okay, so you want Mindanao to be separated and completely run by Muslims because that will surely end the corruption and poverty issues there. Last time I checked, the Ampatuans had murdered the wife of Esmael Mangugudatu, along with 50 or so innocent journalists and friends, and then attempted to bury their lifeless bodies with a backhoe.

  • @mujanamoliva Aren't the Ampatuans Muslims? And the Mangugudatus, aren't they Muslims as well? Oh, my.

What do you think the Ampatuans did to the money sent by the government to help rebuild the town of Ampatuan, Maguindanao? Have you seen their mansions?

  • @mujanamoliva Now, don't get me wrong here. What I'm trying to make you understand is that you don't have to belong to a specific religious group (Islam, in this case) in order to run a village, town, city or even a country that is almost free of corruption. Look at the United States, UK, or Japan.

Look at Afghanistan before the recent war. It was run by Muslim Talibans who were maltreating women and children and denied them education.

  • @labtec2050 binanggit mo ang US, UK, Japan bakit hapon kaba, bakit americano ka.... ang afganistan bakit sila nag hirap because of US, kasi gustong sakupin ng US ang afganistan, na ayaw naman ni Benladin.. same lang din sa ginagawa ng pilipinas sa mindanao...

LOok at Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Malaysia, Kuwait, and Iran... diba nasa developed country na sila, muslim kasi ang namumuno... ano pala ang nangyayari ngayon sa america diba my crises na.. hahahaha

  • @labtec2050 tanga hindi maka intindi!!!! sinasagot mo talaga ng word by word mga tanong ko,,, mahina ka sa essay no... are you sure they are now economically developed? what happened to japan? anong nangyayari US crises.,, lahat yan parusa!!! sa mga ginagawa ninyo,, mga moshrik..

  • Comment removed

You should not make false stories like that. The reason why the U.S. military is in Afghanistan is to find Bin Ladin after learning he masterminded the 9/11 terror attack. Before the Americans went there, the Talibans were already controlling Afghanistan, depriving Muslim women and children of education.

So, you agree with me that Muslims are not incorruptible, yes? So, my next question is. Do you really think those MILF generals are not corrupt? What about the Abu Sayaff? They rape and murder people for money. But, hey, they're Muslims, so they must be holy men fighting in the name of God. What do you think?

  • @labtec2050 alam mo wala namang kasiguradohan yang mga banat mo saakin,,, bakit hindi mo kaya subokan pumonta dito.... pa ulit ulit kc mga questions mo... did i say yes to your question.... did i mentioned about the abu sayaff, siguro there just doing revenge, dahil sa mga kababuyang ginagawa ng mga christians sa mga muslims here,,, but still they are not belong to MILF, and sa pamumuno ng mga MILF leaders mga Ustadz sila, kaya 100% sure,,,,, don't judge our leaders, judge your own leaders

    .

  • @labtec2050 kaya nga diba dahil lahat yun sa maruming impluwensya ng politika, satingin mo sino ang kakampi ni ampatuan hindi ba ang former president na c mada gloria,,, kasi nag tutulungan sila for the power.... ngayon mo sabihing mabuti ang pamamamalakad ng mga christian over muslim....

  • @labtec2050 that is the ARMM, ngayon sa MOA- AD we want the mindanao become ours and we must lead in our own nation... satingin mo bakit ang mga muslims pumonta sa manila para mag hanap ng trabaho. nakakakuha ng matinong trabaho, diba hindi, kc the conflict is still there.. Satingin mo papayag ba ang mga filipino na isang Muslim ang magiging President ng pilipinas, diba hindi.. kc your not concidering us as a people of the philippines, para kasi sa mga filipino, ang mga muslim ay sampig lang d2.

  • mujanamoliva wrote "we want the mindano become ours and we must lead..."

By "ours," who are you referring to or representing? Just the Muslim people? Remember, there are Christians and other non-Muslims living in Mindanao, too, throughout their entire lives. Don't you think they have as much rights as you to have their say against the idea of separating?

And how many Christians have you interviewed so far? Is it a hundred? A thousand? Millions? I'm guessing you talked to a number of people who said they moved to Mindanao from Visayas or Luzon and then you made that conclusion -- that all Christians in Mindanao are from the other regions of the country.

  • Continuation (then you made that conclusion -- that all Christians in Mindanao are from the other regions of the country).

That's not accurate. Now, how about those Muslims in Mindanao who converted to Christianity or to other faiths? What do you make of them? Let me guess your answer. You will probably say something in the line "They should move out of Mindanao; they're no longer welcome here."

  • Continuation ("They should move out of Mindanao; they're no longer welcome here.)

What about those Muslims in Mindanao who moved to Luzon or the Visayas? Should the Christians in those regions tell them to go back to Mindanao? Or how about those Christians in Luzon and Visayas who embraced Islam, should they be kicked out too?

Scarcity of resources? Elaborate on this :)

  • @labtec2050 wala na kayong makain,,, lowest term ng Scarcity of resources...

  • mujanamoliva wrote "Satingin mo papayag ba ang mga filipino na isang Muslim ang magiging President ng pilipinas, diba hindi.. kc your not concidering us as a people of the philippines..."

You are getting ahead of yourself here. How could you possibly know that a Filipino Muslim would not become a president of the Phils in the future? You don't own the future, or do you?

  • @labtec2050 hahaha! tataningin kita papayag kaba?

  • mujanamoliva wrote "hahaha! tataningin kita papayag kaba?"

Yes, if he has a good platform to move this country forward and believes in equality among people of different faiths. Why not?

  • @labtec2050 i think you true answer is NO, don't deny it...

No, not at all. I'm not anti-Muslim. In fact, I have friends who are Muslims.

  • @labtec2050 of course, your just pretending that you're friend of them, pero ang totoo, anti ka talaga! don't lie to me.. idio na nga sinungaling pah... nag mana kasi sa mga leaders nila...

  • mujanamoliva wrote " course, your just pretending that you're friend of them, , pero ang totoo, anti ka talaga! don't lie to me.."

So, I'm just pretending to be friends and I'm a liar? You really know me that much? What else do you know about me that I don't know about?

  • @labtec2050labtec2050 wrote " you really know me that much" your language is your identity, so anything that you say is drfining where, and what family you belong and what is your ethics is.... that is why i know that your just pretending....

That is your own opinion and of your MILF friends. But not the majority of the people, who are living peacefully in Mindanao.

  • @labtec2050 ah kaya pala, nagkaroon ng all out war dito sa mindanao, kasi special kaming mga muslim sa inyong mga filipino...

  • mujanamoliva wrote "ah kaya pala, nagkaroon ng all out war dito sa mindanao, kasi special kaming mga muslim sa inyong mga filipino"

By the way, you should not say "kaming mga Muslim" because not all Muslims in Mindanao think like you and believe in the MILF. There are Muslims in the country who are living peacefully, side-by-side with people of other faiths.

The MILFs are what we called radical Muslims, similar to the Talibans and the Al Qaeda.

    watch?v=gan7IHSXCFQ&feature=related

  • @mujanamoliva So, you're basically saying that Mindanao has to be separated from the Philippines for it to be free of corruption. Do you really think that once Mindanao is no longer part of the Philippines that the people there will be out of their misery as what Mr. Mastura wanted you to believe?

  • The culprit? Those Muslims that the Filipino Moros or MNLF have put into office are corrupt, and the so called MILF has done nothing to help elevate the situation of the Filipino Moros in Mindanao. Instead, they opted to continue a futile war until the whole of Mindanao is separated. They can't even take care of a few regions, what more of the whole Mindanao?

  • If there was a chance for the MILF to prove to the Philippines and the whole wide world that that they really care for the wellfare of the Filipinio Moros, then the ARMM was their chance. They can make and implement their own laws and can request for more resources from the government if they so choose. But no, they don't want the ARMM. The truth is, the MILF want a separate Islamic state.

  • They want a separate Islamic state because that's the very reason why they formed the MILF, a break-away group of the MNLF.

So, Mr. Mastura here was just downplaying the word "aspiration" because the underlying motive of this whole issue in Mindanao is very clear. If, Mr. Mastura is saying that the MILF or the MOA document isn't asking for an Islamic Mindanao state, then why are we on the table talking? A lot of these issues like ancestral lands have been addressed by the ARMM.
