I love how in movies and such people can drink rum just straight down like it was a can of lager. Maybe that stuff is different over in America or watered down, however I've had a bottle of ol'Navy Rum before and that stuff is strong. If I tried to drink rum like that I'd be more than a little dizzy, and I'm not exactly a lightweight.

For those that haven't drunk rum, it's up there with Vodka and Whiskey, imagine trying to drink a bottle of Jack Daniels like that and you'll get the picture.

@TheGOREgous666 horrible things happening, and apparently some really monstrous occurrences we're not fully privy to based on the glimpses of the dreams/memories we got, and now find yourself in a town where the people would likely kill you, it's made blatantly obvious something out of the ordinary is occurring that is potentially life threatening, people are strange as fuck, and that's just the vaguest summary as I haven't even been paying full attention (lol) you wouldn't freak out. At all.

@TheGOREgous666 I get where you're coming from. People often get a bit... odd, to cope with their jobs, like a Doctor developing a black sense of humour/not disturbed by corpses. You'd think he wouldn't be moved by corpses, aggressiveness or weird behavior, seeing as he probably encountered it a lot. Disturbed past or not, you'd think he'd get a bit used to it or stop going insane every time he sees a dead person.

Okay so lets see if I can follow what the durnk said....Captain Obden gathered up this huge cult following which the Christians didn't like and Obden had his friends kill the Christians he and his friends got locked up for it, but then there was this huge massacre in the jailhouse that turned everyone into rotting corpses? Just trying to make sense of the story since I am familiar with some of the HP Lovecraft lore but not enough to understand the entire culture of it.

The synopsis of the original script is basically a young lad got way to curious and traveled to Inssmouth for exploration and got into deep shit when Zadock told him the back ground of the town and was after by everyone in the town. He soon later went insane when he learned that his grand mother was a Innsmouth citizen and soon became a Deep One joining his grandmother and everyone in the underwater city.
