I went to art highschool with Phil Stone in 1969. He died, I believe that he took his life. Phil was so ahead of everyone it must have been a very frustrating having to share the earth with people so boring by comparison.

Did anyone else know him? I found his artwork was really trippy and again, our stupid sketches and watercolors were total garbage when you saw Phil's work.

This band is the shit. I love them. I'm blowing off work today, sitting by the pool, smoking a cigarette and listening to Livin, Lovin...by the Shangs on my ipod. .......Just hitching a ride.........after the Cowboy Junkies this is the most criminally under appreciated band in history.
