if you don't mind me asking, how much did that set run you? i've really been thinking about getting into drums, but my parents run a business in the house and an electric kit would be perfect
The initial set cost right around $1000 brand new. It was a good entry level kit for me, I think. The TD3 has since been replaced by the TD4, but I think the price is comparable. I recently purchased a TD9, though...and I must say...if you can afford to get into that next tier up, the difference in sound and playability is pretty substantial.
Lol. First, thanks for the compliment. I'm just wondering though...why are people compelled to state their real/elec preferences so often? I didn't buy this set for its superior sound. Hell...its only a TD-3. I think it sounds pretty nasty compared to the TD-9, for ex. I got these for their convenience...period.
I can't see the rest of the set. Is that a TD-4s? Love that set - what I play on too :). Just a side note (I'm not sure if you were intentional on this) the 16th note snare doesn't start for quite a few measures on the intro. Yours started a little too soon. Again just FYI. It sounded great your way too!
Well...its a TD-3 with a cymbal added...which may be the equivalent of a TD-4, I guess. And as for the 16ths...I always try to play as accurate to the original as i can...I'll focus on that section next time I get into practicing the song. Thanks for the props! :)
The first one I heard was the slow one they did on xm or something. I liked the slower one better for a long time for some reason. I was suprised when i seen them on rockband aswell. It's awesome good bands are getting seen by people who otherwise wouldent hear of them like this guy doing the cover.
THIS IS LEGIT AND EPIC TITS :D
