  • this car is very clean, throw about 8psi to that motor, and you should be close to, or over 300whp, and obviouly more torque. that would make for a very fun daily driver. i have a 95 renn red sc 1jz swap, i made 260whp stock everything, it pulls really nice, very strong on the highway, so i can just imagine 40+whp

  • Very nice, any definite instruction on safc ii wiring into the 92 sc400?

  • nice! where did you get your cluster redone? and how is it holding up with the new led's?

  • clean im looking to be in the market for a sc sometime relatively soon.

The wheels are flawless, perfect choice.

  • wtf is that stock 180hp? i tho its 250hp and my stock were goin up too 157Mph i almost hit 160

  • Dynoed at 205hp with 215tq...

  • @KAOSasus

Where did you learn to read? Or write for that matter? The dyno chart clearly says:

    1st run - 187.93 rwhp, 204.20 rwtq

    2nd run - 189.62rwhp, 208.04 rwtq

This is rear wheel HP, not crank HP. Those are pretty solid numbers considering the car is 18 years old and probably has well over 100k miles on it. Toyota also used to overrate its HP before the new SAE rating standards went into effect in 2006. Case in point, the 3UZ-FE from the SC430 went from 300 HP to 288 HP after 2006.

  • @Brendonbosy lol, i guess they just wanted to round it off to 300, sounds better than 288

  • @KAOSasus factory stock is 250, over time stuff gets warn, easy to lose hp

  • @KAOSasus at the rear wheels, on a dyno, the numbers are always less than the factory rated numbers (which are from the engine) there's some conversion factor to figure out the actual RWHP but I forget...

  • '92 SC? with 8000RPh? Our original goes even higher

  • that ahit is clean. like how it looks like a 2007 with the steering wheel wat year is that from clean ride looks like 2000 and up

  • Steering wheel is from a 2nd Gen GS sport design model with Blackwood.

  • @ACleanSC4 how easy was the steering wheel swap? im pickin up an SC and i like how that looks in there.

  • were the numbers 189rwhp and 208trq? that's good for a stock sc400 with just mufflers.

  • Yep, stock 92 SC400 w/ S-AFCII...boost coming eventually...

  • those guages didn't look exactly stock, did you modify them?

  • @mikeakaspike US spec dash. Stock

  • @mikeakaspike Bit late but those are more than likely LexTech rebuilt gauge clusters. You send them you cluster they change out the bulbs and rebuild you needles to a wide variety of colors. Good company as the cluster are shit from the factory.

  • Good to see you can get 134rwkW with those big rims. Do you have 15mm spacers on the back? My calcs say you need about +15 on the rears with a 10" rim. Thanks :)

  • No spacers at all...wheel specs listed below...

  • nice wheels, what is the stud/pcd and all that. how wide and how big are your rims?

  • they are 5x114.3, 19x9 +26 front, 19x10 +30 rear.

  • thanks mate your a champ.... was planning on getting a SC400 and wanted to look at the mag options...cheers

  • i never really understood how they dynoed an automatic car :[ can u please explain?

    btw nice car :]

  • you can dyno anything....you just dont get the best numbers with an auto.

  • You get perfect numbers with an auto, you just have to do it in 3rd gear on the a340e transmission that's in the car. It's a 1:1 gear Ratio so the numbers will be exactly right.

  • Nice!
