this car is very clean, throw about 8psi to that motor, and you should be close to, or over 300whp, and obviouly more torque. that would make for a very fun daily driver. i have a 95 renn red sc 1jz swap, i made 260whp stock everything, it pulls really nice, very strong on the highway, so i can just imagine 40+whp
Where did you learn to read? Or write for that matter? The dyno chart clearly says:
1st run - 187.93 rwhp, 204.20 rwtq
2nd run - 189.62rwhp, 208.04 rwtq
This is rear wheel HP, not crank HP. Those are pretty solid numbers considering the car is 18 years old and probably has well over 100k miles on it. Toyota also used to overrate its HP before the new SAE rating standards went into effect in 2006. Case in point, the 3UZ-FE from the SC430 went from 300 HP to 288 HP after 2006.
@KAOSasus at the rear wheels, on a dyno, the numbers are always less than the factory rated numbers (which are from the engine) there's some conversion factor to figure out the actual RWHP but I forget...
@mikeakaspike Bit late but those are more than likely LexTech rebuilt gauge clusters. You send them you cluster they change out the bulbs and rebuild you needles to a wide variety of colors. Good company as the cluster are shit from the factory.
Good to see you can get 134rwkW with those big rims. Do you have 15mm spacers on the back? My calcs say you need about +15 on the rears with a 10" rim. Thanks :)
You get perfect numbers with an auto, you just have to do it in 3rd gear on the a340e transmission that's in the car. It's a 1:1 gear Ratio so the numbers will be exactly right.
