  • Toyots will and always be the best auto maker ever no matter what ppl say or believe when the media pull bs in them because there japanese and they call out domestic recalls on companysbecause there ameican mm,

  • and also before a toyota model is going to go to dealers they first crash test a prototype in japan. iots also were they freeze the car and it will still run at 20 below. then they put it in a chamber heated to nearly 200 degrees.

  • @126anonymous they actually have transmission parts and the engine imported from japan

  • @126anonymous its japanese

  • @126anonymous I believe it is because the whole commercial is relating to the safety issue with the pedals of the camrys which is an american toyota model

  • Toyota's cars and Lexus' cars are built on the same frame. Why can't they use some of the parts the same so things like this don't happen?

  • can you use toyota technology to make toyota cars cheaper?

  • @MRburitz can you use toyota technology to make you get a job and quit bitching?

  • the best volkswagen

  • Personally I can say that Toyota has lately built lower quality cars, but it's not like gm or chrysler can make anything better. I don't hold Toyota at the top of the list in terms of quality, because it simply isn't, however considering their entire lineup, Toyota is still one of the higher quality automakers there are, and that will do.

  • I'll stick with my toyota..domestics sucks :D

  • Thank you Toyota for building a safe reliable car for the right price.

  • @CAREXPERT69 You're welcome.

  • These recalls of anything are going to make Toyota better in quality compared to the competition.Their most likely going to rethink their mistakes and come back strong despite the recalls. I also hate the media for making this seem like this is the only car company who has experienced recalls too. Almost every car company had recalls and some of the recalls were even caused by even worst issues than the acceleration pedal.

  • I read the comments and I realize why Americans are so dum, what a gang of tool bags!!!

  • Toyota, safety first, because it used to be really really really really last.

  • Toyota hid their quality and design problems for years and years but it's all out in the open now. TOYOTA UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED!

I prefer cars that I drive rather than Toyotas that drive themselves right off a bridge with their stuck accelerators and faulty brakes.

  • The new motto should be "TOYOTA:Moving Forward...with malfunctioning gas pedals.

  • Safety My ass, Toyota wants quanity not quality. Work faster, toyotas moto

  • This brought a tear to my eye :') Good job, employees of Toyota.

  • Ill stick with my Toyota... It will outlast any Domestic

  • LOL. We invest 1 million dollars in getting our pedals stuck.

  • safety my ass.

  • Oh, ok it's now standard. If you bought it 2 months ago it was an option on all your vehicles. Toyota has a very hard time letting go of their poor conduct in the North American market.

  • I read a news from CNN. Mr.Lee who was driving 1996 Camry crash and killed three ppl released today after spending three years in jail. Toyota should say sth about it or compensate his life.

  • @GreatestJin A 1996 camry is no WAY IN HELL going to have the same problem as the 2006-2009 Toyotas did. How I'd know? Simple. MY sister HAS one and it hasn't given her any safety trouble at all. Only trouble we are having is the idling (electronic) But you'd have to give the car a break. It hasn't been for a tune up in YEARS.

  • I would like to watch again the publicity campaign for latin america NO ES LO MISMO, TOYOTA, it was a song with the spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, it was BEAUTIFUL, please, make my dreams come true

  • how to fix toyota matrxi 2005 stoplight cover

  • Man... I just saw a commercial ad for Toyota safety, and I didn't give a crap! All my cars are old classics that don't have any seatbelts, airbags, power brakes, or steering. The US is turning into a bunch of squares! It should go back to where horsepower sells cars, not safety..... squares....

  • @AxonHilock Good, leave here you moronic piece of shit.

  • @aSASa45454 So the other day I pulled up next to a Toyota Prius at a light in my El Camino. The Prius had a decal that said "End your fuelish ways" on the back bumper. The driver looked over at me, obviously startled by the loud note of my exhaust. Then I smiled at her, the afternoon sun illuminating my bright blue eyes and pearly white teeth. "7 MPG," I said, "On the highway" Before the Prius driver had a chance to respond, the light turned green, and I left her in my dust!

  • @AxonHilock You should be so proud.. not.

Funny, but it's not something you should be proud of.

  • @AxonHilock You know. The prius wouldn't be to bad of a car if it weren't for those hippie fuckheads that drive them. Toyota should of aimed for a different image for the prius. And it isn't really that green. IF you REALLY wanted to go "green" as some people say. Hell just buy a motorcycle. Sips gas and will take you anywhere and has a TINY footprint compared to the prius. It also hauls ass. I just got a yamaha the other day. It's great fun to ride.

  • @EpiDemic117 I know I fuckin' always say the same thing! Bikes are awesome, get good mileage, and are fast! I have a few, my fav being a '69 Triumph chopper, but I mainly work with old Hondas.

  • lol after they made this commercial they had another recall durrr $1,000,000 million dollars an hour wasted

  • The most recent commercial I saw of toyota has safety repeated like 100 times. Harsh marketing tactics to try to steer customers back.

  • I have a 2009 Camry that Jap built I love it!!!!!!!

  • that was just for 08 ---- 09 was worse and 2010 hahahaa recalls alone are to top 1.1 billion US dollars....Deutsche Bank estimated the recalls will cost the car maker 50 billion yen ($556 million) and an additional 10 billion yen ($112 million) a week for factory downtime.

  • usatoday.com/money/autos/2008-11-06-toyota_N.htm

  • NO way they are making $200 + Billion US Dollars a year in PROFITS. after production cost are paid out they average about 5-6 billion a year NOT 200 billion. they expect to earn 550 billion YEN in US dollars thats only 5.5 billion. Off from their earlier projection of 1.25 trillion YEN $12.6 billion US dollars

  • Toyota needs to die!

    American Cars for life!

  • @Joseph9536 Uhu, and kill everything living..

  • @Joseph9536

Yeah! American cars! You know, like the Camry which is the top American-made car according to cars.com. In fact Toyota has the most cars (4) on the list, beating out I don't know, Ford (2 cars) and GM (3) while Chrysler didn't even place on the list. Oh and the Sienna ties for 2nd for the most domestic parts content according to the NHTSA. Toyota once again has the most cars on that list too. I'll give it to Ford for their Taurus having the most domestic parts content though.

  • @AppleMacBookAir2 dude you are a morron first of all go learn something about cars, second of all the camry is not an american car, just because its build here in the US doesnt mean its an american car, third the camry inst the "top-american made car" the chevy malibu is, you keep getting your information from the internet and thats why it fails.

  • @Joseph9536

Wow. Ignorance at its finest. There is this thing in competition, akin to Darwinism. It basically states that the best company wins. Period. If American cars are to stay in production, then they have to prove they are good enough to compete with companies like Toyota. So far...meh...but I will say this. American cars could be much MUCH better than they currently are. They COULD be.

  • japans economy is in trouble and product quality is down, but lieing about a known defect that has killed drivers too save money is too much, I will never buy a toyota again, ever!!!!!

  • @dauntless14u Not toyotas problem actually. Chrysler is recalling cars for the same reasons the company that manufactures the cts pedal. If your going to buy a ford you got a massive recall on the cruise control cutoff switches that catch fire or chevys alternators catching fire. Not trying to bash you or anything, but ever car manufacturer has its problems.

  • @gbpackfan89 wow can you make up some more information please, pathetic dude.

  • @69charger440sixpack didnt make it up look it up

  • @gbpackfan89 where the internet? oh yeah real "reliable" information.

  • @69charger440sixpack Actually the internet is the best source for information out there and it is extremely reliable. Given of course you use common sense while researching.

  • @drsta84 no its not all it is is people putting up their opinions and making it seem like it is a fact it is the worst place to get information, since so many people put up false information.

  • @69charger440sixpack "common sense " when researching on the internet is using websites that are well known and trusted, cross referencing the subject matter to weed out opinions and mis-information.Dont go to websites that give biased opinions on the matter or sites that wont post resources to hold up their claim(s).Yes, a lot of false information is out there but it is very simple to avoid or refute BS material to find trusted material.

  • @drsta84 wow your dumb, the internet is not the most reliable source out there since anyone can make a ".com" website and post a bunch of bs, and how can we tell if a website is giving out good information if we are browsing to learn not because we already know. Even the history channel doesnt always have correct information, its all opinions presented as a fact. So yeah internet, not very accurate.

  • @69charger440sixpack "and how can we tell if a website is giving out good information if we are browsing to learn not because we already know." i explained this in my previous post but i guess you weren't paying attention which figures sinceu cant find facts on the internet.

  • @drsta84 exactlly your the one talking about using common sense when searching in websites when like you said we are searching to learn not because we know what facts are correct and which ones are wrong.

  • @69charger440sixpack lol your a bit slow aren't ya...

  • @drsta84 you mean i have a life unlike you who sits behind his computer all day waiting for me to reply? what a nerd get a life. Lmao.

  • 100 times better than American junk

  • Boycott all Japanese services and products until they stop killing whales.

    Free Pete Bethune!

  • @1Vidaloco i agree with you dumb ass japanese are ruining our world with everything they do.

  • Ok, im not here to bash Toyota, but how could they possibly be spending 1 million per hour on improving safety and quality? Come on-thats impossible. Why didnt they just say "We are spending a Gazillion dollars a hour"

  • @ZX2ManDave

I have done the quite simple math on this. The factors I assumed were a 24 hour production period, and a 7 day work week. Basically, I estimated high. The total annual cost of that $1 million per hour is about $8.736 Billion. If based off a 5 day work week, the annual cost is $6.24 Billion. Compared to their total profit (annually) of $200 + Billion, this is really not a big hit for them. Take note that $200 Billion is actually a bad year for Toyota.

  • @MrTripplenipple: My Toyota was made in Japan. While they do make them in KY and other locations within the US, there are still many that are truly imported.

  • Way to go Toyotas! Lets forget this stupid Recall!

  • 1 million $ an hour on what?? 1 billion in 1.5 moth?!

  • stingray... I see you a bit confused. Please, try to respect the people's opinion, before writing nosense without any fact or argument. Don't you think it's 'unfair' to say 'killed so many people', while your comments are just trying to cover the GM's and other's defects what, in fact, YES, there are evidences of serious and dangerous problems

  • It's quite appalling how some of you are rooting for Toyota to fail. When they put many people to work and continue to do so.

  • @snickrz97 It's quite appalling how MOST of you toyota lovers are rooting for GM to fail, when they put many people to work and continue to do so AND helped this country out when the Japanese decided they wanted to try and kill many innocent americans.

  • @fordtrucksftw I have no ill will for GM or what the company has done for this country. I don't root for anyone to lose their job.

  • @snickrz97 You are a good person then, but a lot of the toyota fans don't feel the same way as you.

  • @fordtrucksftw They make Toyotas in America dumb ass. Japanese is One of the U.S.'s allies...WHAT ARE YOU BITCHING ABOUT? People want GM to fail because GOVERNMENT bailed them out using TAX PAYER money including yours if you work here! And that is UNAMERICAN!!!

  • General Motors ALREADY owns THE "MARKET" & has for OVER 100 YEARS !!!

...Toyota has killed people in the USA & other countries just to sell their Garbage &not worthy of being in the same "market" with GM, Ford, Chrysler, BMW, MB, Audi, or even Honda or Mazda...Toyota is Beneath them ALL. YOU Must Be A Total IDIOT & a Ignorant Human Being, who has NO CONCERN for anyone except yourself...How can YOU support a company that has DELIBERATELY KILLED SO MANY PEOPLE...Just for MONEY !

  • @XxRandomXRawrsxX Yes! exactly... they're trying to destroy Toyota, so GM can take over the market...

But everyone must know that IF YOU BUY A TOYOTA; IT HAVE TO BE JAPANESE and not American (yes... it's a difference).

  • All the car makers have had these issues it's just Toyota that is making the headlines.. I would not buy any other car but a Toyota. people should be able to figure out how to stop the car! like try turning off the engine maybe..

  • @MegaG15

No problem. Now Lexus GX 460 is recall for VSC system which now taken action by Toyota. The GX 460 was not recommanded by Consumer Report.

  • @Aznbabyboi84 Yeah, so as the Landcruiser... but you know... al the comotion about Toyota only raised their sells, at least here in Europe :P They sold 100 000 more, and people are still seeing Toyota as the #1 most reliable cars in the world.

They are still humans, and humans make mistakes. Just the stupid American car companies can't take it that they are better.

  • A million dollars an hour will not bring back the lives lost while driving a toyota product.

  • @dwatcool You can say that about all car companies and their products.

  • Just got my 2010 Tundra Double Cab 5.7L 4x4 loving keep on making good products and thanks for keeping safety a main concern

  • i hope what they're saying is true because i hate to get my car fixed again.

  • Toyota will overcome all problems they have. I think Toyota's rivals have multiple lessons that they will learn from TOYOTA.

  • WTG, JOSH!! <3

  • Check out my videos :) Toyota is the best!

  • Toyota!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Does it still count that I like if I'm in it?!

  • Toyota may have their problems but in 2007 Jeep, dodge and chrslyer had the biggest recall of time they have recall all of their vehicle for safety reasons.

  • Toyota forever, you'll get over this. Don't let greedy american government try to throw you under the curb. Their cars will NEVER be as good as japanese brands...

  • @Batmanshack hope you gas pedal stick!

  • @buggieguy Hopefully "YOUR" spelling is better next time. The whole pedal thing is pretty much BS, media overhyped the situation, including the governement to a problem wasn't even there. The floor mats where a problem but GM government decided to take advantage of the situation and make their cars look like deathtraps. I also hate the way they say that Toyota lost quality? How so? They messed up by having parts invented and made in the USA that's the problem here.

  • The copywriter should have used a different, larger number instead of "a million dollars an hour". Why not say "over one billion dollars" ?

  • @guitarbrettgb Because maybe that's not the truth? Toyota can build cars cheaper & smarter & safer & with more comfort, than those american brands... they only want profit.

  • I love and trust Toyota keep up the great work

  • Cool commercial. I just picked up a new Yaris about a month ago. I never even thought twice about doing so either.

  • Nice commercial guys. :)

  • Love it

  • Toyota the best

  • It's PR time...
