  • FUCK it.. Thailand! Gaaahhh this man is hot..

  • Back in the day Phil....well he's not the role model type for sure. A lot of older guys still fight just for the cash, cuz back in the dark era there really wasn't much to make.

  • WAR BARONI!!

  • your 1 of my favs phil dont ever change

  • is this part of a longer documentary?

  • i dont know why you like this guy... I went to see him fight last night and he came out in a leather jacket, toothpick and sunglasses, was completely and utterly rude to the referees, and all up himself. Versing an unknown apanese guy, who was very humble and kind, and he kicked his fucking ass! he went in for a handshake after the fight and baroni just ignored him. Baroni got boo'd out of the ring and stuck his finger up at the crowd, and yelled fuck off, so i think he's a little bitch!

  • @miasachi132 Yeah its funny how humble he is after getting his ass kicked. But once he wins 1 fight hes back to being the same cocky ass hole. Don't worry. He will get KTFO again soon and then he will be humble and depressed again.

  • This is what I love to see in a fighter, other than fighting skills and great charisma he's over all a great person. This is a real fighter.

  • His comments at the end is very disturbing and sad - "Maybe I'll be walking with a limp; maybe I won't remember my kids names; maybe I won't remember my kids names...but they'll say my daddy never quit."

Really sad. For his own sake, I hope he never fights again - he's gonna get hurt permanently.

  • All he needed 10 years ago was somebody to talk to him. He should have been in Thailand 10 years ago. Become a commentator, get your attitude up without the cockiness. Transition now before people have no clue who you are.

  • I don't think he's cocky... anymore. A few years ago, he was a mouthy p,o,s. With that, he might as well change his name to "The New York Bad-Gas

  • baroni has signs of brain damage. he needs to give it up.

  • I'd like to see Baroni back in the UFC. Hes an exciting fighter in every fight.

  • Holy shit. 13-12??? Damn Phil....

  • the best evaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WAR NYBA

  • What a guy he will surely be remembered maybe not for his record but for being a true fighter. BaroniLAD

  • sooooooooooo hot !!! no homo..well yes way homo ..lol

  • 13 - 13 one of the worst mma records ever

  • @HazeNJuice

    What's your record?

  • Heavy stuff. I hope Baroni finds success soon.

  • his record is now 13-13 thats really bad

  • @LilBlitz116 its MMA theres no such thing as a bad record-your as good as your last fight

  • @jonli702 Ah man I heard an announcer say that line, can't remember who it was but it definitely wasn't you. Nice the way you tried to sound badass, though.

  • @ImprettysureImright did i try to sound bad ass? i wasnt aware of that....just stating the truth-im actually friends with him - i mean look at couture 19-10 ....honestly.

  • I like Baroni a lot...always a great fighter to watch and listen to.

But, he has damn sure been beaten. This idea that he would "still be fighting," really? Frank Shamrock would have choked him to death then. Also, he quit against Pete Sell.

I hope he makes a comeback, and wins. I get bummed out every time he loses.

  • @Kkuusshhh "...And" training in Thailand,AKA,or anywere else isnt gonna make much of a difference in how he fights, cuz of what I mentioned below...(btw,hes fro Long Island, not Brooklyn wise ass)

  • @nujrz4lyfe I do know that..As a matter of fact,Id bet my life on the FACT that "if" he ever even has the opportunity to fight on TV again,He'll never even come close to winning by any other way besides a punch...He has NEVER had any idea how to win any other way..Thats a fact

  • This guy is huge but he's not good...this guy sucks

  • How can anyone dislike "The New York Badass" ?? ... Ill pull for him everytime he fights!! WAR Baroni

  • @Kkuusshhh He hasnt evolved & expanded his skills since the 1st time he stepped into a cage & fought...All hands,THATS IT! I always root 4 him but hes just an obsolete fighter...

  • Phil....you jus got your ass handed too you by Tavares

  • phil is awesome ill support his comeback

  • i wanna see his ass do work at ufc 125!

  • Keep on going Phil, if you're reading this I grew up watching you fight man, going to Thailand was a great choice to expand your mind and broaden your abilities. You'll make a comeback.

  • he is agreat fighter but this is the first time i thought he is also cool

  • Too bad it took him this long to mature as a fighter, then again he was always giving a show and exciting fights. I love the old-school Baroni, the glasses and the robe in Pride, the New York Bad Ass. It's great he's humble now, I really hope he can get a win in the UFC and make a comeback, if Dana lets him...

  • Steroids = slow as fuck, fat!

esteroides = devagar, sem gas nenhum e gordo!

  • my hand go up to phil he change alot. phil we love you just keep training hard. muah!

  • I'd like to drink a beer with Phil Baroni

  • Phil, you earned my respect.

Just no more "I'm the Best Evah!" shit. Keep it humble and work the cardio.

  • New York sadass

  • LOL PHUKET (fuck it) THAILAND LOL

  • @philbaroni1 come on is that cool. Phils tough as fuck. Have respect for him

  • @MMAGuru08 what exactly mark kerr went through?did he have any health probles?

  • I wonder where he would be without 'roids.

Another thing - it is profoundly annoying when Long Island chumps like Baroni say they are from "New York". Lets keep it real: Baroni is from Long Island, no better than being from Jersey.

  • im like phil bad boy to the bone Baroni, everybody loves to hate me,, im a gangster if you wana call me that... and im a tuff ass fighter !

  • What is there to be cocky about? How about a record of 13-12. Please don't come back Phil. Although a Thailand Muay Thai training documentary might be nice.

  • washed up, end of story

  • @hotchman99 phil baroni>you end of story.

  • @quangngy my dick>you........suck it...end of story

  • @hotchman99 Oh wait, no not end of story I'd also like to add: f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-fag. End of story :)

  • @MasterBlaster747 hahaha

  • One of Phil's biggest problems in terms of expending energy is in the clinch. In stead of trying to go for a better position, look for a sweep or take down, or use knees, he constantly spams rabid short hooks to the body. He does little damage and just gasses himself out in the process. I'm glad to hear that he's finally learning some legit muay thai. I'am very disappointed to hear that his other coaches have never told him to pace himself. That is horrible.

  • to take a break from thinking? he thinks? and he should probably have learned muay thai a long time ago. before compiling the 13-12 record.

  • He can definitely grow a beard fast!

  • wow I hated this guy before when he was too cocky, but now he is pretty humble, boy do you learn at lot from time! go Baroni Im rootin for you!

  • @geobros I liked him from the start but i think he learned from all that ASS kicking he got

  • please make a beast comeback phil!!!

  • Phil should be on Jersey Shore.

  • phil baroni is the shit. hes the only reason why i started watching mma, because of his brutal knockouts and cocky attitude. still my favorite fighter up there with clay guida. both guys are pure entertaining

  • I have alot of respect for a guy like this. I saw him at a Wandi autograph session and I see Phil Behind the bar and people were just passing him by ..I was like WTF thats The New York Badass. Fucking gentleman. I hope he comes back and cleans up his division...

  • Baroni has matured a lot, but in my heart he's still that cocky kid screaming about being the "best eva".

All the best to Phil. Here's hoping he can correct his cardio issues.

  • I like Phil Baroni. never hated the guy. He has so much HEART and DOES NOT QUIT. RESPECT PHIL.

  • Pluss since phil has tested possitive for eq and winny, he will love it over there, where you can hookup with roids easy!

  • are they doing his kicks in slow motion?

  • its sad to see a fighter like this wen they have no money and their skills have gone but they need to fight for money! so sad to see.

  • @bm2g Phil no skillz,,, lmfao@ you, phil was one of the best you knobrider!

  • 'i checked out some elephants' lol wtf?

  • much respect to baroni, great, interview, great insight into a fighters mind...ive always been a fan of baroni's, and after this interview i respect em even more, hope he gets a couple of more wins in his career so he can go out on a good note...phil's a tough son of a bitch!

  • We still love you Phil. Best of luck implementing the pacing into your next fight.

  • nothing wrong with the skills of phil baroni, its his condition that needs work

  • Phil we miss you in Phuket :)

  • Phil got wins from pure aggressiveness, a strong mind and decent boxing skills. The game is different now though. He needs to go back to finding some decent Jujitsu/Wrestling coaches and really level up his ground game.

He's focusing on what he does best at the moment, which is start. From here it's really up to him if he can keep up with the deep talent in the MMA world and continue to evolve as a mixed martial artist. I wish him the best of luck with his new found perspective in life.

  • Baroni is surprisingly self aware!

  • Phil's a real man, he'll get put to sleep before he taps, that's how much heart he has. He may not be as gifted as the elite guys, but he loves the sport and has given himself to cornering other guys, helping them train etc. He might be a slightly above .500 fighter, sure, but not everybody can be the best. The point is he's there and he gives it all in his fights and for the sport.

  • WOW WHAT A RETARD HE CANT EVEN TALK HAHAHAHAA

  • he's got more balls than most losers on this board mocking him. Great interview.

  • What Is There to Be Cocky About? Nothing ya know, when your record is 13-12... ya know?

  • @holypoop88 Lol..

  • So glad Phil got a chance to head to Thailand. Not just for his training but for a good general shift in an outlook on life. Every man should hit Thailand at least once. Too bad I missed you Phil, woulda been cool to see you there. Thanks guys for putting this up.

"....checked out the beach.... checked out some elephants..." haha

  • Good shit Phil, looks like a nice place

  • 1:35, if he wins almost all of his fights in the first round, then how come is record is 13-12?

  • @electricguitarkevin he said he won the first round of the majority of his fights, not won IN the first round

  • This guy is a horrible fighter. I don't understand why he still gets any media attention, his record is 13-12, enough said.

  • @SangredePurepecha Whats ur MMA record if we're cross referencing here? This dude is already a legend and is seeking spirtual discipline and refinement. What do u do that woes the world with ur talent? Are you gifted in someway. If so, prove like Baroni had win, lose or, draw. He shows heart and guts and is willing to put it on the line. This dude never ducked nobody and would die like a warrior in the ring. Show me what u do u keyboard armchair quarteback. Lolololol

  • @GeorgeOrwell1984NWO Relax buddy, I'm not saying that he's a horrible person, but as far as an mma fighter, i don't feel he's any good, he had punching power and that was it, never tried to learn a new discipline. Am I gifted, absolutely, i got a BS in Finance. Me and a couple of friends have a non profit organization that teaches financially uneducated people how to deal with their money. So, I do try to do positive things.

  • @SangredePurepecha the squeeky wheel gets the grease

  • The best Evah!

  • great interview! Much respect.

  • Cool interview never really cared for Baroni but plus respect hope he wins his next.

  • Wow, strong words at the end... thats the New York Bad Ass.

  • You've got a great heart Phil, you got my respect bro.

  • 13-12 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the guy ... but that's not a good record, one more loss and it'll be really really bad !

  • 13-12 wtf man cmon,,ur ass need to work on cardio hehe

  • goodluck Phil, I hope you get it done , you got and heart and thats one thing you cant be tought

  • LOL he said no one ever beat him. Shamrock & Pete Sell choked him out cold. HA HA He needs to quit smoking

  • Awesome interview...Phil seems to have changed his attitude!

  • you're a nobody phil

  • Youre fighting a wrestler btw.

  • I like the new attitude. A humble fighter can learn. Some one full of him self wont listen.

  • holy shit. I hope he wins his next fight and somebody makes a documentary about it.

  • took too many steroids, body is too stiff now to be good at muay thai, should go back to hammer house with all the other juicers,

  • @bettzeug I was at hammer house about 6 months ago and there arnt as many guys there juicing up like there use to be. With all the regulations and testing its not possible which is good. Also a lot of the guys said the things mark kerr went though made them stop. Also the strength and conditioning coaches for mma now are so good steroids dont have the advantage like they use to.

  • @MMAGuru08 you obviously have no idea what you are talking about

  • @bettzeug What do you mean i dont know what im talking about. I see guys working their asses off everyday to become better fighters. Who are you to put down a fighter. What have you done. Your just another typical fan who knows nothing about what the fighters go through and you base your opinions off of ideas you have that you can not prove to be true. Your just another loser that never had the balls or the talent to fight yourself so now you sit behind a computer talking shit. Get over yourself

  • @MMAGuru08 cluuuuuelessssssss

  • @MMAGuru08 Go on lad!!!

  • damn hes in shape, like the old baroni

  • great interview

  • Check out Baroni at one with himself here....

  • hope he comes back and does good.

  • i checked out some elephants...

  • @vardana I LOL'd at that the first time I watched the video. I was tempted to make that the title.

  • @vardana elephants are important
