This is a joke... and an insult to the Bugatti. You could've let the Ruf get to 150 before the Bugatti started and the Bugatti still would've got to 200 mph first. Don't get me wrong, the Ruf CTR is a fabulous car. But with a mere top speed of 207, it stands no chance at all against the Veyron.

You don't get the Point of a Veyron. Sure, you can tune a lot of cars to drive faster then 250 Mph, but:

The Veyron is a car, that can handle the Power! It won't fail to start, it won't overheat, it won't fall apart.

It's pure Quality, pure Power and still pure Luxury. Each Part they use for the Veyron had to be new invented, the Gearbox for example, even a Formula 1 builder told the press, how hard it was to build a proper Gearbox, because it has to work for at least 200'000km.

i expected better from the bugatti... but then again: the ruf is a very, very fast car. for another car to keep up is one thing. to overtake the other car, in full throttle, is another (amazing) thing. to getaway like hell is a third thing, where you will need a koenigsegg agera or ccx, mclaren f1, bugatti veyron 16.4, gumpert apollo, ssc ultimate aero,... for. lamborghini Lp 670-4Sv might be fast enough too =) just dont quit know the number (0-100, 0-200, ...) from the ruf CTR.

@Rockula no its W16, two V8 combined but not exactly a v16 rather combination of two audi V8. On normal driving half of cylinders remain off while only when you floor it they come to life. Unless you are on launch control where all cylinders are alive, you will always have a lag in buggati before it starts putting its power on the road. 1. Partly because of 4 turbos, 2. Because of this on/off combustion mechanism in W16 cylinders.
