It doesn't matter if it scares you the freaky part is that it can really happen. This is a very powerful and emotional scene and I think it is wonderful.

One side is the fill in scary "malevolent" and the other is Reagan's. A cool Hollywood trick they discovered would make the story more believable and scarier. Jesus knew that Mary would be assumed, body and soul, into heaven. The only reason Mary was assume wholely into heaven was because God the Father guarded her from sin to be the carrier of God the Son aka Jesus.
It is true that there is only one God, but in that God there are three divine persons. Jesus is one of them. If you don't believe Jesus is one of the trinity, I will be interested to find out who God the Son is.
