You're "preachin' to the choir". I have a rebuilt 272 in my 55 Ford Country Sedan longroof. Some people tried to talk me into a whole new modern engine and drivetrain, but I wanted to keep it as original as possible. I also have the dual exhaust. The unique firing order is what gives it that sound. Rock on!
I had one of these when I was 16.Just got my licence,cost me $500.Automatic and the back r.h.s. axle snapped.The body was in real good nick until I smashed the front left and right fenders in seperate accidents!
@yankeeclipper2 Sorry i took so long to reply, yep the star was was really a Canadian Meteor, with bits of both, a real mongrel. The interior however was similar and dash being different to both.

I know wath you mean! I shoudn´t sell her if it was my car. I havent look at the Crown Vic club site yet. Thanks for the tip! I bought my first american car last summer, they are very popular in sweden. When I get some more money I gonna buy me an old Y8. /Peter

and cant bring myself to sell her. Have you looked at the Crown Victoria club in the U.S.A ? We have alot of members from Sweden..
