You gotta remember, this song is the anthem that the actress (not the real one, but the character Beatrice Stockwell) demanded for this show, since she wants an anthem in every show she does, so thats the point of having this song.

i dont necessarily think she was aiming to copy .. i think it was more supposed to be the character --- the direction as well.

ok it seems like she doesnt understand the part..i saw her instead of ebth ..uhh i wasnt happy.. but she doesnt really act well and she copys beths singing.. or thats just her voice.. idk

I agree. Her gestures are without purpose. She doesn't understand that in order for this song to work, you have to actually know what you're singing! Her voice sounds great, but like you said, she's just copying Beth's vocal style.

she just didnt show up.. she lives in nj and bryant park was at 12 and beth had a show at 8 so i guess it wouldent make sence to go back and forth?
