I love Dwight Yoakim no matter what he does. He's a great singer andactor along with all of his other accomplishments. He will find himself when he looks in the New Testament Acts Chapter 4 verses 30 thru 37 where the ground shook and all the saints of Chist got together and sold their possessions and laid what they recieved at the apostles feet, and all had an abundance. Dwight did a fabulous job as always on my favorite group the Eagles song. Dwight's voice seems to get only richer with age. I love the talent this man has, and the radio stations give him no air play. It's all Countryfied Pop poop as far as I'm concerned. Looking pretty has nothing to do with a great voice....both together is sweet...but I loved Johnny Cash good looking or not! I love Dwight and glad he is touring again!

Remember, Dwight denied the Nashville establishment when he was first trying to bust out in the early 80s. That's why he left for California and hooked up with Buck Owens and Merle Haggard etc. He wanted to make his mark on the scene, not play what record labels wanted him to. And that's exactly why Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, etc, SUCK!!!!

No, Dwight has not yet recorded this song. He seems to have a great appreciation for the entire California music scene. The Eagles were a big part of that and I imagine that is why he chose to perform this song live.

I had the pleasure of attending a Concert,that had Emmylou Harris, Charlie Daniels,and Marshall Tucker Band. That was in 1975,Marshall Tucker sang this song...but they didn't do it the "Justice", that Mr. Yoakam does...Sing on Mt. Man!
