  • hiya nothing is too crazy

  • His Kung Fu is strong.

  • 0:55 auutch!^^

  • no offense here,i understand that every fighting style has its own pros and cons, but, there is no way in hell kung fu could work in a real fight. At least not against a trained (kick)boxer-mma fighter etc. Let me see this king fu master grabbing the wrist of a boxer throwing that lightning fast jab..not gonna happen..or stopping a takedown from an mma guy..i dont think so

i can grab your thumb while you punch and twist it,in slow-mo. yes,i can.. full speed? nahh

  • @simos901 A kung fu master would walk all over these so called trained kick boxers and mma fighters. Seeing as how just about every martial art is devised from kung fu, two equally skilled martial artists, one in kung fu, one in anything else, kung fu will win hands down. You've been watching too much UFC my friend

  • @ZMaj7 but we know fighters being completely equal is likely unrealistic, it will mostly depend on who is the better/wiser/ more intelligent figheter

  • @universalize1 Very true. The assumption was purely for argument's sake

  • @ZMaj7 what...a...moron! You have been watching too much "kung fu theater" my friend!

  • @TheTardstrong I don't watch kung fu. Oh and keep the name calling up, trolling is obviously the cool thing to do on youtube nowadays.

  • @ZMaj7

    And you say that because..?

I m not a hater nor a ufc nuthugger. I just state what i think is obvious.

When i was growing up Bruce Lee was like my idol , and i still appreciate eastern M A. Though, combat sports like KB and MMA are growing so fast when it comes to technique and training methods that i think are way too much for a Kung Fu practicioner to handle.Traditional M A are not developing quick enough to catch up with modern knowledge and cant be as competitive.

  • @ZMaj7

All you have to do after all is,watch demonstrations of both styles and think for yourself what would work better in a realistic situation. You have demonstrations of KB and MMA all over the net. Kung Fu demonstrations, well there are not as many.Judging by a video on youtbe "kung fu masters fighting" or something like that, which is pretty old,and movies i ve seen,my guess is that KB-MMA would prevail against KF in a street fight, and i dont really see how u can deny that.

  • Shaolin forever!

  • There needs to be a shaolin mma fighter

  • @TOcho8185 The fighting styles are too different. Wouldn't really work well.

  • I think this guy likes balls... only tuching his balls...

  • The way that monk moves....so damned fluid!!

  • and he didnt look like he was trying. god kung fu fighting is extreme

  • he is kuririn from dragon ball =P

  • @samcohanun you should learn to respect all forms of fighting, for it in itself is a form of art. Besides your racists inputs, you don't seem to understand that the skill of a fighter comes from one who puts effort in his training and mastery of the technique and style, not just having a bigger build. If you're still not convinced here, /watch?v=TErMWRNB-yM&feature=related nough' said.

  • Watch this video you noobs and see what a nice blow means. Now imagine an Asian getting this blow...definitely dead

Write in the search bar : Karate callejero

  • @samcohanun you are a very sad retard

  • @samcohanun ... u r just an ignorant bastard and I dont believe that u have been fighting against a expert in shaolin kung-fu... I bet u would get your ass kicked if you fought against this shaolin monk on this video.

    what's your real name?

you think you're good and can win against good opponents, but I bet that u don't even know how to punch and kick.

By the way I'm also a Kick-boxer, I've done kick-boxing in almost 6 years. and I honestly think that I could not win against this shaolin monk.

  • Asian Martial Arts are not effective. And the other thing is that these guys are too small and weak to last against other people of the world. Middle Eastern and Western People are much more powerful in body size and weight than Asians. They cant handle any real hits. Like i say...its nice to watch Asian Martial Arts...because its like Ballet. But Asian Martial Arts is not effective. They do fight in patterns. Show Men.

  • @samcohanun tell bruce lee that

  • @samcohanun ur an idiot. asians are influential in the making of judo, taekwondo, their own jiu jitsu.. the list goes on. i guarantee you that you would not be able to defend yourself the way you think if you fought wblack belt in any of thir arts. granted they have their weaknessess and thats why learning other combat arts like kickboxing and wrestling are important as well. size does play a roll but dont be ignorant. bruce lee would wrek ur shit even if you were a big guy

  • @samcohanun ur a fuckin retard, we asians r the ones that created martial arts dipshit. size doesnt matter, yeah most of them r small but they will fuck u up in 10 seconds, they r for real. not ufc SHIT, that has rules were talkin about realism here dipshit, for example BRUCE LEE.

  • @5674trackrunner The retard is you you fool. A real fight is not like this pussies do, fight in patterns and cant get any punches. So much to your martial arts. The best martial art i do respect is by the way muay thai. The rest is flop.

  • @samcohanun no u got it all wrong like i said ur the RETARD, not hard to understand that but i respect every other martial arts, and yeah they do pratice in patterns like for example shotokan karate but that doesnt mean its not gonna work i seen plenty of karate people win in fights and so other martial arts like muay thai, kung fu well real kung fu like shaolin monks but yeah u get the point.

  • Like i said, i do western boxing, with kick boxing and also systema. And i am more trained than this shaolin monk on the video. I would kick his ass badly.I have already fought a shaolin based fighter. He was a Russian, who did live for years in a temple in China. He was an expert in shaolin kung fu.He lasted 40 seconds against me. He just waved with his hands and made wavey moves. I did cover my weak points, gave me a hint with a left leg, but hit him with an uppercut. He was KO at once.

  • @samcohanun I would love to see you fighting against shi dejian, he will learn you humility at least.

  • wow. super stupid!

  • Asian Martial Arts are not made for real fighting situations. They do only fight with patterns. In real fighting situations, any well trained and especially weighty boxer would kick the ass of such a shaolin fighter.

  • @samcohanun you do realize that shaolin monks dont like to fight and that why they dont fight alot but if they wanted the would leave a full weighted boxer crippled on the floor. Shaolins are known to be the best fighters in the world, but all the crap on youtube just shows demonstrations and training. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BEALIVE IT.

  • @samcohanun I'm sure you'd like to try it out yourself and ten wonder why you ended up in the hospital. They wouldn't even have to fight at times. Sometimes, the best option is to walk away, and it's the fools who turn and strike each other, proving to the rest of the world how big their egos are. Fighting is the last option and for defense only. The person who can control their mental impulses is the stronger. It's not about who's got the bigger balls.

  • @celticbattleaxe I have already. I have fought against a shaolin based fighter, a karate champ and a taekwondo fighter. I do kick boxing, boxing and systema. Such pattern like fighters like the asians have no chance in real life situations.Btw. My weight is 100kg. They always try to counter with a pattern based style, but in reality a fight is not countable. Even Bruce Lee hated the patterns style fighting of Asian Martial Arts. A fight is not predictable.

  • @samcohanun And Bruce Lee was a movie star. If he 'hated the patterns style of Asian Martial Arts', he never would've been in those movies. No they don't. They TRAIN in patterns, such as kata moves. Yeah, a fight is never predictable - do you see the Shaolin above using the same moves for each attack from his opponent?

  • @samcohanun This is true what you say. Instead of bashing on your comment, I believe these people should do their own research instead of trying to discredit you.

  • @samcohanun Ignorance.

  • @samcohanun I've been in a real situation with a a boxer and he was so limited to his moves because he lacked fluidity. I also know two girls that where attacked by four armed robbers who managed to fight them off because of their skill. Do a little research before you jump to conclusions.

  • Is this from a show, and if so what's it called?

  • @KaptajnKold i think MMA fighters are the best in terms of street and cage fighting, discipline and everything that involves fighting.I also think that somewhere in the mountains is someone like this guy who can put up a very good fight with whoever wants a piece of him.No MMA fighter moves like him.You don't have to see him fight(because he will not do that,it's not in his nature, culture or religion)but after I saw this,it's enough. Everyone is invited to challenge him to see his true power:)

  • @KyleMPulley You seem to imply that Kung Fu hasn't been proven effective. The last thousand years (or so) of its use in real combat say otherwise. MMA's been around how long now? And, it borrows from countless styles, including Shaolin affiliated Kung Fu.

  • @ripthrashers Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Lol, let's see you take him on :D

  • LOOOL PRESS 5 REPEATEDLY

  • i used that move at 0:12 on some punk who tried to mug me in the city. i threw him into a wall with it and broke his eye socket

  • press 9 rapidly, this is what they want ...

  • I like how everyone's an expert on the martail arts. HAHAHAHA

  • Whenever a 'grand master' demonstrates a trick like that, it's always on his own pupils. If asked to demonstrate on an outsider they almost always refuse,

    BASED ON WHAT ?

  • @KaptajnKold True kinesis is shadowed by fake wannabes 1:10000

  • Women... They cant just see MEN fight!

  • @KaptajnKold is fantastical a word?

  • damm that man look monkey

  • Cool, It could not be better. Grade to Shaolin demonstration.

  • while is like...twisting his body...actualy..he jz trying to get his whole body to move this CHi energy faster

  • This is a MUCH better demonstration of martial arts. Go to search and type in ( Kung Fu Master vs Taekwon Do Black Belt ) or just look to the right at the similar links it should be there.

  • Awesome! Just one problem though, the white guy in this video is average sized compared to many white folk in America. Some of those dude are HUGE, and that is before they take steroids and do bodybuilding. So my question is, could the Shaolin Kung Fu practitioner still block strikes from such an oppoenet, and knock him around as easily? I don't think so, at least not for the later.

  • @Andhaira

The reason UFC was founded in the 1980s was because people wanted to know if skill and speed could beat power. The answer is that it really just depends on the individual person and not the style in which their using. Deadliest blows are generally delivered from elbows and knees, while boxers generally have the strongest punches. Not sure about kicks though. But like I said there are extremes no matter how you look at it. 100 lb mua tai fighter vs 250 lb boxer = mua tai goo

  • @Jsmash88808 Good point lol. Bob Sapp who have his share of knowledge of striking and wrestling was tapped-out by a guy he outweighed by over 100 pounds.

  • @Andhaira Well, for one, a roid head bodybuilder one average, will most certainly not have the flexibility of someone who has been practising combat / joint manipulation since near infancy. Also, just as ther are HUGE white people, there are also HUGE asian people.

  • @Andhaira According to Wally Jay, Bruce Lee kicked a 300lbs bag up the ceiling. And a small guy named Dennis Rogers has the strength to hold back four motorcycles from taking-off and also two airplanes from taking-off. So yes, I believe a monk could if they trained themselves at Lee's and/ or Rogers level.

  • im chinese..and i cant do this...

  • I'm not trying to insult anyone, but I want to see if their techniques work if someone punched full speed.

  • @nstrikefromnerfhaven it's simple you just dodge it rather than catch it, but every chinese martial arts learned about chi energy, this make them can take any punch

  • So this video is about some American getting his ass kick lol

  • Anybody can look good practicing on a willing opponent at half speed. This is same demo shit you see all over youtube. These guys would get taken down in a heart beat and get beat up on, BADLY.

  • LOL! What if there are two Shaolin guys fighting eachother? :P

  • i know it goes against their ways, but it would be funny if one of the shaolin monks just participated on an ultimate fighter tourny, just to destroy their ego and crush all their fans dreams.

  • For the love of god. They've been practicing this shit for over 2000 years. Of course they're going to be good at it.

  • Swweeet

  • damn thats fuckin cool

  • The one thing these monks have over others who practice a martial arts is CONVICTION. Pure dedication when executing moves, with no hesitation. 100% reflex as these guys train for a living.

  • You can learn alot of useful shit from shaolin and wing chun

  • I'D Like to see him vs MMA pro fighter..

  • @ikkaku01 i'd like to see MMA fighter in war combat. lol no offense

  • @ikkaku01 Id like to see Silva do this

  • Choy Li Fut is the only style [of kung fu] that traveled to Thailand to fight the Thai boxers and hadn't lost." –Bruce Lee

  • They're three main reasons shaolin kung fu fail in sports.

    1) It's not design for sports.

    2) Hardly anyone train the ancient way like the monks; training everyday, being on a strict diet, strengthening every part of their body.

    3) People don't learn all the main animal styles. They learn one and think they're unbeatable.

Bruce Lee even stated hung gar (I believe that was the style) to be the most effective style for fighting more than one person.

  • He would get rapped by any decent mma fighter...sorry its just true. If you don't believe that you have never trained in a combat sport a day of your life, or you have trained in wung chun (some other non effective martial art) and think its applicable to real life defense....its not. You can pratice those arts all you want, and good for you if it brings you happiness, not looking down on that. But don't say it can compete with what is proven to be effective.

  • @KyleMPulley If kung fu can't fight, why it is still practice in the present. In ancient time, it use for war right ?

  • @KyleMPulley Bodyguards and Special Forces people say they use Wing Chun... how much more practical can it get? Don't underestimate any one martial art, not even ones with restrictive rules, like boxing.

  • @IAmebAdger I dont underestimate boxing, it's proved to be effective. You guys are delusional...like I said before any decent mma fighter would destroy wing chun, yellow monkey, or any of these traditional hokus pokus martial arts. Not trying to put it down, if people can find happiness training whatever then power to them. Also, bodygaurds and special forces don't use wing chun....I doubt you can bring up any reference to prove that.

  • @KyleMPulley @KyleMPulley I don't know what sort of reference you'd accept, but here's one:

    julianhitchmase (dot) com/SpecialistTuition/MilitaryandPoliceTraining/tabid/309/Default.aspx

I can't really use real-life as evidence, where Wing Chun demonstrants once told us that they were doing many years of bodyguard/security work before going into teaching, since I could be lying..

  • @KyleMPulley Wing Chun is alot less Hokus Pokus than whatever crazy animal styles that aren't really used much. In fact it's very popular in terms of practical chinese martial arts and is implemented by some MMA fighters (or at least they said so..).

Trying to convince someone over the internet isn't a realistic thing to do, but hey, I tried.

  • @KyleMPulley on youtube: /watch?v=tEHo4l0ucmY

approaching the middle of the video there is brief Wing Chun style training footage

Duane Dieter is also supposed to have Wing Chun as part of his background...

  • @KyleMPulley Hmmmmm such ignorant people..... I would love to see and "decent MMA fighter" do this

    watch?v=7qHL2PSpecI&feature=related

  • @SirWalterEjr a decent mma fighter would be able to take multiple hits while going for a take-down. kung fu isn't so good on the ground.

  • @SirWalterEjr

That's mostly just physics...when they hit the bricks, stones and shit. Most importantly....those stones bricks, and sticks dont hit back. I'm not ignorant...I'm just trying to spread the truth. As far as effective at killing, A combination of Krav Maga and MMA is the true master at defending yourself.

  • @KyleMPulley yes, for people who watch too much action movies.

  • @KyleMPulley And where do you think Krav Maga and MMA come from ? Yes Krav Maga is good because anyone could do it, so its great to learn and it works. Kung Fu is something you HAVE to be physically fit to do and its much much more difficult to master, but it is the ultimate form of fighting. Study MMA for 30 years, then travel to China, walk into a shaolin Temple, fight a 14 year old, you would be left for dead, experience it, dont trust what you see on youtube or tv !

  • hiya I`m good looking babe

  • He uses a lot of monkey and dragon (just look the emotions), Lohan form is also there.

In the end, he shows an attack (a form of attack). Thats really rare.

  • This is probably the only style that can't be beatin compared to any other. Some ppl just can't understand it fully. I don't. But I'm smart enough to know it can beat any other fighting style. Or is at least equil to one.

  • people dont realize shaolin monks train almost from the time they learn to walk til death. They fight each other FOR REAL everyday to hone practical skills. You cant say these guys cant fight. He even told the guy to punch faster but he didn't.

  • Seriously? How come every video that has a man doing something related to combat the comments are "mma is better hurrdurr"?

  • Nemesis0 next time i go to China join me there and fight for real gloves off, i know a few serious guys, and you would get your arm broken with the first punch.haha

  • yet another master who has prolly never even been in a real fight in their entire lives yet thinks they are a master at fighting.

  • @nemisis0 your milk is getting cold and your sleep hour has passed. Be serious.

  • naff

  • When you get into a street fight you won't get one punch but a chain of punches. He can do very nice tricks against one slow punch but I would be interested to see him against a fast street fighter who throws 4-5 powerful punches on him and the whole situation happens in one second and not from a situation when he is waiting for the punch. this is not an unrespectful comment just my opinion.

  • Shaolin Kung fu is over 1500 years old and has been proven in Wars. It works.

  • Why does everyone on youtube compare Shaolin, or for that matter any traditional style, to MMA? MMA is a sport competition that has very limited techniques and rules. The original term "Mixed Martial Arts" was coined in the first 3 or so UFC fights. It referred to the fact that a lot of traditional styles were represented. Now you have kids, teenagers and adults who don't know MMA is not a style of martial arts. It's simply techniques from other styles someone learned on the weekend.

  • @tommyofshaolin I agree

  • this guy could brake you in two and you wont even know that he did.

  • moral of the story is don't fight bald asians

  • 1:13 kick in the balls, an ancient shaolin secret.

  • @svennemax100 that is actually a staple move in many eastern martial arts, even into israel in kraugh man do and haganah

  • @lastandbesthope haha didn't know that, if it works it works I guess.

  • Comment removed

  • this guy sparred w/ an experienced sanda fighter. no joke. there are actually quite a few tv clips of him sparring w/ random ppl. search up shi dejian.

  • shaolin monks can break cars with there necks?

  • Shaolin monks are the strongest fighters of world btw u noobs

  • For everyone who for some reason or other thinks this is "fake kung fu" or that this guy aint a real shaolin monk, check out this vid of him doing a form on a wall with a several hundred foot drop inches away.

    youtube.com/watch?v=W0hX4CPDhmE&feature=player_embedded

  • @UrbanWarriorNinja Not saying that Shi Dejian is fake or anything, but how can practicing forms on top of a wall prove fighting prowess anymore than ballet dancing on top of a wall?

  • @ShredST Because if you watch the video you'll see the control he has whilst doing his form, martial art perfection is exemplified by this sort of concentration and control, not just fighting prowess. If I were to see a ballet dancer dancing on a wall like that the natural conclusion would be that 1. theyve devloped confidence in their ability 2. theyve overcome fear to an extent 3. theyve mastered their art to some degree

  • @UrbanWarriorNinja I assumed that when you said Shi Dejian's kung fu isn't fake, you meant that he's actually able to fight. Maybe you meant something else.

  • @ShredST Yes of course I meant he can fight, note the last point I made about mastering his art. But learning to fight isnt all that Shaloin monks train for, that was my point

  • @YourTheBlame2

There is some argument in it, I am sure...

But you are right and I would not. If I was to pick some school of fighting I would definately do one that proofs itself usefull in fighting instead just claiming what it could do if it would be used in fighting. Guess that is the reason why all the law enforment agencies and militaries around the world lear Kung Fu ... not wait they do not...

And Kung Fu secrety are kept so well not a single fighter ever came up to dominate fighting

  • @itteerde It depends what you want out of it. Kung Fu has a *lot* going on on MANY different levels. It's a way of life. It's an art physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. So for the 99.99999% of your life when you're not ACTUALLY IN A real fight, the benefits, focus and insight are immeasurable.

Besides, kung fu is designed to kill. MMA is a sport. An opening move in Kung Fu might be, for example - jam fingers inside eye sockets, grabbing skull with tiger claw and snap neck

  • @EoN604

yeah, the killing thing... Human necks sometimes dislocate on strange minor force events but generally we are quite sturdy. There is no such (working) neck snapping technic. That is why special forces learn to break arms or joke out people instead of dreaming that with an (extended with som 'tiger claw'?) arm you'd overpower neck muscels. With the extended arm there is not much force available at all - that is why arm bars work...

Poking eyes is more real though

  • Shaolinmonks are killingmachines. Noone of the guys who commented on this would even be able to make it just 10 seconds against one of those monks. They could defeat allmost everyone, but they train almost 24/7 for their skill. I think its really impressive that theyve got such a high body control, and that they are able to react that fast.

  • hehe Hot latin blond girl looking for someone to cam with me, come on

  • 1:15 nasty one :D:D

  • thats the best fight, or mabye defense fitght art !!

  • They do not have any guard but bet on being fast including anticipating their opponents move. While that certainly will work most of the time when masters fight uneducated fighters it would not work against a person well trained in fighting as well because without gloves a punch can be delivered in less time than necessary for reaction and it is possible to do it with knockout power without telegraphing with the shoulder.

MMA is as real as it gets without having unjuries on a regular basis.

  • @itteerde No.

  • they would rape everyone in the ufc ........ would like to see that though

  • You can't see real fight at YouTube for one simple reason. Real fight is about killing. It's completely different from an MMA fights. Real fight can't be about demonstration or showing off, it is always to kill or be killed. You should have pretty good reason to fight and of course you are in completely different state of mind. This stuff is not for YouTube. When you declare some set of rules and you know you will go home after the fight it can't be the same.

  • I remember I joined martial arts because of an anger problem. It sure did help.

  • It would be really interesting to see just how a shaolin monk would do in an actual MMA type fight. I mean, shaolin monks can break stones with their head, wrestle bulls to the ground, take full kicks to the groin, take a spear to the neck, hang themselves and still be fine. How in the world do you defeat them?

  • this suck ass...this guy can even punch right ;] kung fu is nice but now it is only art compare to mt/bjj/mma

  • @adlkdflsk if you didn't notice, that kungfu was all about hitting vital points and breaking points, virtually majorly hurting someone and not allowed in stupid mma fights.

mma: glorifying shit skills for money/pride

shaolin kungfu: finding peace and enlightment through your body.

  • @planetshakerxx bullshit. same in box mma/mt u have to hit hard and in right point. not 360 kick or other shit. i trained kick b and mt and mma for 7y and i know something about it.

  • @adlkdflsk you obviously don't know what martial arts is about. Martial arts is to benefit ones self mentally, physically and spiritually. When fought for money...it is no longer martial arts, it is just animal fighting. Real Shaolin masters will easily strike vital points to majorly end disable parts of your body. In MMA is a fight of pride....brute punching and pounding on eachothers face and see who can take more. If a shaolin master was not set on rules in MMA they'd easily strike MMA down

  • @DaMaxxy This is true. While I have the upmost respect for Shaolin Kung Fu, these guys are indeed posers and in fact, the Shaolin Temple was reopened as a tourist trap by the government. The "monks" you see there are no more authentic than civil war reenactments in the US. The era of the Shaolin Temple is over and has been for many decades. There are people who do practice true Shaolin Kung Fu. but they are not doing youtube demos or touring showing their "magic" powers.

  • @DaMaxxy Accoring to National Geographics one of his disciples beat an pro mma fighter.

  • @DaMaxxy Idiot. This monk defend themself against 4 attackers. He surived many attemps of his life. This guy had more real fighting expierence than any mma fighter. And no doubt that he also would destroy this guys.

Do you know who he is? You just watch this video and you said that he can't fight? This is a demonstration where he also makes fun. Watch his other videos. Do you know his name? No, right?

  • ist das Staiger ?? :D

  • That is all well and good, but a shotgun will still make a nice fist sized hole in their chest though

  • @zkyggen if u talk shit like this it will be endless. a monk can also blow u up 2 miles away with a tank whether u got a shotgun or not.

  • @captainzzboy the fuck are you even talking about, rofl

  • @zkyggen that will do the same to any human in the world.

  • Kevin you dumbass. Id give you $1000 if you can even get to make a fighting stance before this guy rips you apart

  • Maybe if your target was inexperienced and extremely slow these moves would work.

  • @Digiimandan Ever seen this techniques on fullspeed? No you haven't, right?

Do you know who this guy is ? lol

  • @MartialArtsCN Do you know what a low percentage move is? Do you realize the odds involved?

  • Take him down, beat him to the ground! After this, lets see if mr. Shaolin still attack

  • @kevinllamas20

*IF* You can even touch him for that matter.

  • alter was würde passieren wenn das ein echter kampf wäre XD fuck

  • @OnurDogan1996 intensievstation ^^

  • seems like fake martial arts to me...

  • 0:02 what's doctor house doing there?....

  • Id like to see him fight someone from the UFC

  • @kevin4free i would not wanna fight this guy... considering all he does are neck snapping and bone breaking submissions...

  • @yellowman88 but how will he even bend let alone break 300 pounds of muscle and bone?

  • @kevin4free They are fighting within their weight class so they won't have 300 pounds of muscle... They'd be in the < 155 weight class.

  • @yellowman88 'tis true

  • Not one shaolin monk will fight any mma or anyone for that matter, monks believe that their skills are there for a lot of reasons, Pride is not on that list.

  • @aperfecttool213 i hate to be the fake guy....fuck the "this is fake guy" but damn...this seems fake.

  • @aperfecttool213 ofc they will not ^^

but the shaolin monk in this video (if he was one ) just show his skills in true fight ofc it whould not be so

but i think the guy asked him " hey could you show me your martial arts "

    "yeah why not ? "

  • @aperfecttool213 That's because Shaolin kung fu would kill you! You didn't see that "Half of his moves involve snapping your neck, or breaking your limbs in several different places." Theres a reason why you don't see Shaolin fighting on TV. You can't compare Shaolin fighting to professional fighting on TV. Every fight would end up with some dead or hospitalized. Your not trying to knock out your opponent, or put him into submission.

  • @Cjohnsonmyer014 True that. My aunt is a Shaolin instructor. There's no show or flair. Just pure, minimalist, direct disablement.

  • @Cjohnsonmyer014 you're an idiot.

  • @Cjohnsonmyer014 "That's because Shaolin kung fu would kill you!" But how do you actually know that? Have you ever seen a Shaolin Monk kill anybody? How do you even know if they would win the fight, since they never seem to practice full contact sparring?

  • @Cjohnsonmyer014 You do see it on tv, Bruce Lee, his style adapted from Shaolin Kung Fu

  • @DarthScosha what bruce lee did was called demonstrations

  • @Cjohnsonmyer014 Too right mate! Their balance and technique is incredible! Admittedly the 'challenger' in this video wasn't going full bore but neither was the Shaolin! He had time to laugh and demonstrate what he was doing while the other guy looked bemused... watch the lifting moves that come from the centre of gravity, hardly any effort at all! Maximum respect for the Shaolin and the dedication.
