  • Whitney great gift ideas i especially like the messenger bag...also u look great with your short hair !! Happy holidays

  • Thank you soo much! I started making homemade gifts for people a couple years ago XD

I'm going to make some heating pads, remote caddys, books marks, jewlery and now I might make some PJ pants and pot holders! Probably an owl too! XD

I'm going to be doing a lot of work lol

ALSO your hair is super cute! You look good with short hair!!

  • I'm making both of my brothers vests for Christmas. The more punky brother gets a black and red pinstripe one with a black and red colorblocked back with straps going down the entire back. For the more neutral brother I'm making a green military style vest with brown tabs to shut it and on the shoulders.

  • @billkaulitzluvagirl That sounds awesome!!! Come to think of it my brother might like a vest! I should make him one too ! XD

  • I always have a hard time when measuring enough fabric for the butt/back part of pants... and then lining it up with the front sides... I for some reason think, "Oh this will be enough extra to cover my butt for sitting down", and it never is?! What am I doing wrong?! Should I add a foot in height or something?! But then the sides will be way above the front sides?!

  • I'm making custom crochet beanies for EVERYone on my list... guys and girls (because I'm really BROKE!)

  • @Larielle I've been making custom shirts:) Thrift store blank tee's, and a sharpie is all you need:D

  • Thanks for the ideas!... I'm going to make the ruffle flower purse (possibly with a wallet depending on extra fabric) from Ucreate for a cousin, a scarf w/ doctor Who circles on it for my Bro.... and a owl necklace with an envelope! I can't wait til my classes are done this week so i can get started!

  • Great ideas, thanks! And I love your haircut on you- very cute!

  • nice list! and you look very pretty with this hairstyle! ;)

  • Hey, do you have any ideas on gifts for dads? Since I'm kinda short on money, I want to make my presents myself, and dads are always super hard I think!

  • @SecondF00t I made my dad a business card holder... since I can't post any links, just type in "How to make a business card holder" on the web and you get a variety of results:)

  • @SecondF00t Maybe a remote caddy? a scarf always works! Heating pads are nice too you can make a curved one that fits on the neck/shoulders. Business card holder if he has business cards. I have a lot of difficulty with gifts for my dad too! :)

You can always google "DIY gifts for dads" XD

  • Your hair looks lovely :) I made jewellery for both my grans and now I'm looking for ideas for stuff to make other people xD

  • I'm making my two best friends matching (ish) blankets and I'm going to make my baby sister some animal hoods.

  • I'm making some tile coasters, 5 sets of four. I'm also going to draft a pattern to make two stuffed llama's for my two female cousins. I'm making a piece of wall art for my parents that says "Love You More" (something they've said to each other since they were dating and now we all say it to each other including my 4 year old son. I'm also going to make some of the rice bag heat pads, and possibly a few of the animal ear hoods. =)

  • Like your hair! Thanks for the videos.

  • I am making my son and daughter small blankets. Which I probably should be working on right now. I am also making sugar scrubs and fudge. I met the nicest lady today who told me it was ok to steal her ideas. She actually told me how to make everything at her table. It was so nice. She had these adorable aprons made out of jeans and a tater sack.

  • I love all your gift ideas! I really want to try making one of your newsboy hats one day, they're so darn cute! :3 To answer your question I'm giving a lot of plushies as gifts this year, and a few other handmade things ><;

  • The heated rice bags are on my list to make and give. Thanks!

  • I am definitely going to make my mom those pot holders. Although I'll probably just, you know, "gift myself" one of those newspaper boy hats (they're just so cute)!
