Tom Lehrer is one of my favorites. you did a bgreat cover. How come your grandson has a Scandinavian name? My Granddad was Axel Carlsson, born 1882 in Småland, Sweden.
Tom Lehrer's first album was a kind of cult classic among my peers when I was about fifteen. The songs were so different from the usual pop stuff everyone was listening to.
This was a very refeshing take on this fun Tom Lehrer composition. The lyrics came through so loud and clear. I have not heard such a purer rendering than yours and it makes the song even more fun and enjoyable.
Absolutely love this song, and you sure did justice to it!

@mmebaudou Maybe because his father has a Welsh name, though he's not Welsh.
And they both have a Chinese name as well!

@tafxkz I first heard him when I was fourteen. I think Dylan was getting known a couple of years later.

Another good romantic song by Tom Lehrer is "I Hold Your Hand in Mine." I'll probably cover it some time, but you can find the original on YouTube.

Is he a comedian?

He's a great writer (and singer) of satirical songs. Another one I've put up is The Irish Ballad, which makes fun of folk songs!!!!
