My other Asian friends are different they were born in the U.S. There attitude for things are way different from other Asian families that actually have been to their homeland. For example, I'm filipino. My family is really strict, my brothers and I don't usually talk back to our parents. We are more disciplined. You are perhaps a bit naive about the situation with Asian guys. The media and other aspects of our culture has great sway over who we find attractive, and Asian guys just aren't very up there. Every movie or TV show starring an Asian protagonist is about some kung fu master, sadly most of us don't actually know kung fu.
White washed or not, honestly confidence only gets you so far. It's simply very unlikely for an Asian guy to become as stereotypically attractive as a white guy.

Regarding Asian dudes from Asia, the answer is the language (ENG). When I came to Canada approx 10 yrs ago, I thought that white girls were hot, but I never talked to them, cause my ENG was shit. And then as my ENG got better, things got changed. However there is a little personal observation. I lived in Prague for 2 yrs out of the last 10 yrs. My ENG is adequate now, but my dating life in Prague was much crazier than now in CND. Cause, Czech girls spoke ENG with me, & I was better at it.

This is true though. I'm Asian myself and definitely have a soul. My other Asian friends are different they were born in the U.S. There attitude for things are way different from other Asian families that actually have been to their homeland. For example, I'm filipino. My family is really strict, my brothers and I don't usually talk back to our parents. We are more disciplined. Others just plainly talking back to their parents treating them like their friends.
