The chord changes are witty. But the overall idea is a bit monotonous. The Cm6 at 00:32 is a pearl that stands out of the even and repeating over and over short arpeggios.
@f1f1s Thanks for the criticism :) When you say its 'monotonous', I kinda agree with you, but the piece is meant to be minimal. Therefore having lots of repitition, with slight changes which is what i've tried to do...
@naffanharrison i have this argument a lot. Especially with the head of music at my college. He likes Bach and wants music to modulate constantly while changing texture. He'll say 'this is repetitive' and I'll say 'that's what minimalism does.'
And I prefer the word homogeneous to monotonous. :)
