  • Google Docs offers authoring tools, so more focused used to create information than to store, maintain that in a safe way in a company for a long time. Hence it is more an alternative to eg MS Office than an option to EMC Documentum, which offers Enterprise Content Management. If you have invested lots of money in SAP ERP, you also have to ask yourselves where to store and maintain all key documents. This is where EMC Documentum adds value.

  • why not use google docs for this ?
