You *were absolutely correct with this statement about 5 years ago. American cars have improved significantly in the past 5 years with regards to quality AND styling. The initial quality inspections by JD Power Associates,Edmunds,as well as several other publications verify what I'm saying. The only thing the big 3 face is what YOU face Marietta,the PERCEPTION that American cars are poor quality. The American public to this day has not forgiven the big 3 for their poor quality from the past.

Lincoln needs to revert back to its basic design styles kind of like ford did with the new mustangs, which are selling like hotcakes btw. No more sharing body plates with lesser models, Lincoln should be king of American luxury again. Interiors as classy as usual though.

Great car, look at all the reviews they've been getting => MKx, MKz, Navigator, Mark LT, etc. Safest vehicles, best quality etc as per J.D. Power & Associates. Japanese luxo's machines, better watch out, the Americans are back and there not stopping!! Congrats To Lincoln & Ford!!
heathcliffelane, yes American can challenge Germans & Japanese cars if they build what the people from outside US want. The MKS has nice body with ample space. But the back needs redesign n the headlamp n front grille must be replaced. In Asian market, most prefer smaller engines max 3.0litre or we won't be able to pay road tax
